The best part of this mirror is that the mirror itself is attached! I had been using another 5x magnification mirror on a flexable stand and the mirror was forever falling off whenever I tried to move it around. This mirror doesn't take up much space on the counter and it matches the nickle finish hardware in my bathroom. This is definitely a must-have for those of us that are visually challenged!

This mirror is great except that it runs through batteries extremely quickly. I use it for about 20 to 30 minutes a week, and the batteries run out every 2 to 3 weeks, which is extremely fast. Other than this drawback, the mirror is great. The magnification is great and the placement of the light at the bottom of the mirror works well.

I received this as a gift, and I really like it. It's very portable, and that 5x magnification shows me everything very clearly. If there is a negaive about this product, it would be that it is constructed mostly of very lightweight plastic. While this makes it light to carry, I think it might make it less durable as well.

This is a very attractive lighted mirror. Looks-wise, it's perfect. However, if you need a bright light to apply your makeup or for tweezing, it's not bright enough. The size of the mirror is terrific, but as I already own a non-lighted 3x magnification mirror, the Conair, which is supposed to be 3x is not as powerful as the one I already have. I really would have preferred 5x, but was willing to go with the one I ordered because of the look and the light. I was disappointed with it.

The telescopic neck was its key selling feature for me. The Conair Deluxe Lighted Makeup Mirror offers the ability to adjust to various heights. After all, not everyone is the same height or uses the same chair to sit in to apply their makeup. Ever have to crouch down to see in the mirror or stack books under the mirror to bring it up to your eye level? If you have, then you know what I mean. This makeup mirror provides adequate lighting and magnification along with a real bonus....the telescopic neck....adding comfort in application to its list of features.

I agree with a previous reviewer. This mirror could just as well be an "unlighted mirror" for the amount of light it gives off. I returned it after one use.

I looked all over for this mirror!! Finally found it, I was so excited!!
A week later the bulb blew out..........bought 6 bulbs...none of them fit......total waste of money. I was so disappointed. I liked the mirror (and the weight of it was great) but if you can't buy bulbs for it what's the point?? Oh yeah, you can order the bulbs direct from Conair....4 to 6 week delivery....who has time for that????

Lights burned out after 4 weeks. Way too much trouble to replace them. Nothing spectacular; not big enough. This product was a waste of money.
