One of the reviewers didn't like the design. I must admit that I was at first baffled by the door that comes off with a basket attached to it(strange design indeed). The oven's bottom funnels down to a crumb tray underneath which makes for easy cleaning.

The door/basket is perfect for loading with french fries, tater tots, cheese sticks, rolls, sandwiches, onion rings, potatoes, chicken, pork chops, small pizzas,etc...etc. Everything gets equally heated top and bottom!

The controls are unique...If you're cooking a pizza just push the special "pizza" button. Everything else you cook will use a combination of three mode buttons: turbo(how done you want it on the inside), crisp(how crisp you want it on the outside) and brown(how brown you want it). Push buttons are used to select the amount of time in each mode(sounds hard but it's simple). You can taylor all your food to suit yor taste.

It comes with a very useful videotape to get you started. I've got to stop writing this because I'm getting hungry thinking about the great food that comes out of this fantastic oven!!

One last thing: My power bill has gone down since getting on of these!!! This oven will pay for itself fast because the price is great!!

Seeing this item first on an infomercial, I felt it would help to make my life a little easier in the kitchen. Being physically impaired due to neuropathy in my hands and feet, I needed something that would let me cook not only more quickly but also without the dangers of dropping things or burning myself while cooking at the stove. This little oven has proven itself to be just what I needed. Not only does food cook faster, but I never have to defrost anything. From pizza to stuffed chicken breasts, it cooks it all. I even made my son homemade french fries with no oil simply by placing strips of raw potatoe, with seasoning, in the basket and turbo cooking. He loved them! No more greasy food and clean up is a breeze. Makes great hamburgers, steak and even stuffed zucchini. I highly recommend this item and the price is very good at Amazon.com. I even got free shipping! What a deal!!

Bought the oven about a year ago, use it about 4-5 times weekly and love it. Chicken, steak, pork chops, fries, sausages; they all come out perfect. Wife loves it too. In-laws are here and are very interested in purchasing one. I haven't had any of the problems other reviewers have had other than the smoke. But I got over that. Great Oven!

If you are just starting out in life and are on a limited budget, this toaster oven will get your through. It can do the small jobs, like toasting a sub sandwich and such.

However, it probably won't last more than a few years. I don't have many complains with mine. The size is great and the price was right at the time. If it survives all the way through college, I will use thing thing until it dies.

All in all, if you're just starting out, this would be a good buy. But if you have the money, pay a little more for a better one.

I like a toaster oven that will hold 4 slices of toast at the time. I also like one that I can use to cook small meals
for my husband and myself so that I don't have to heat
up the large oven. This one is just right for me!

i survived on this oven the whole summer when I was in summer skool... my only utensil to cook...im a college student...i dont need anything super fancy... BUT i have made some really good food in here... i have tried to "fried" eggs... toast bacon... and I bake chicken in here EVERYDAY... so far.. it works fine...but then I also take really good care of it...i defnitely try not to abuse it... HOWEVER.. im not looking for something to last me 5-10 years...i dont mind getting a new one every 2 years or so..since there will be better ones at good prices...and it will be NEW =) My roommates always joke about me having a tv show featuring me cooking with a toaster oven~ =)

I have one of these. It burns everything I try to toast - even on the LOWEST setting. I have to stand there and monitor everything I put in it. Get another brand. Any other brand. Toastmaster should be ashamed of itself.

We were given this toaster as a wedding gift 1.5 years ago when it was priced at about $75 at Macy's. IT BURNS EVERYTHING on the lowest setting. The GLUE holding the handle to the glass door MELTS EVERYTIME I turn the toaster on and the handle pops off when I go to take my CHARRED food out of it. The black paint trim and the white "Toastmaster" logo wipes right off when you go to clean the front of the glass door. I guess the company doesn't want you to remember who made such a poor product!!

best part of this toaster is how it can clean. just pick up interior removable liner and rinse it or clean with wet paper towel and
it is good as new and has 2 hour timer which makes perfect for
long cooking or broiling.Best buy.
