This is a bread makers dream. This is a bread maker that is high tech., yet simple to use. It has many features not avaiable on other makers, (and I've gone through two others). This machine allows you to customize the bread you want to make, various types and batters, sizes and crusts...and more.
It has a hard crust feature to replicate the European crusts. It even does bagels that come out as bought at the deli.
Sultan, the manufaturer, has another great product.
You won't be diappointed with this machine.

This is the third bread machine I've had so far and after several weeks I've had good results. My main criteria in a machine was a 2-pound capacity. The machine has a good, heavy-duty pan that is deep, even for a 2-pound capacity, that reduces the mess that flies out and collects in the bottom of the chamber during mixing. It's been very easy to clean and is quiet while operating. My only complaint is the extremely long basic bread cycle (3 hours, 40 minutes) which produces a nicely textured loaf but required much experimenting to find the right amounts of yeast and flour to make a loaf that wouldn't fall. However, the dough cycle is short (1 hour, 3 minutes) and the extra features such as a setting to make your own butter are appealing, though I haven't tried them yet. Not a bad machine--the best I've used yet.

While there are a lot of good bread machines, one feature of this model made it stand out to me: It bakes one, one-and-a-half and two pound loaves equally well. I prefer to make small loaves more often so that it's always fresh. It's practical to do so with this machine because it's simple to use and easy to clean. Also, sometimes when my husband gets especially creative, one pound is plenty. I cannot recommend, for instance, augmenting a bread mix with canned tuna, and grapes are not simply "fresher than raisins". For satisfying, fresh bread just toss a package of mix into The Breadman TR888. It knows how to make good bread every time so you don't have to.

not only can you bake a pizza, you can make cookies, warm bread slices etc. very sturdy and a good buy. good for doing demos at expos and in-store demos. highly recommended for college students living in dorms.

This pizza maker is really an excellent product, a real essential for any pizza lovers out there. The best pizzas I have ever tasted were the result of this wonder-gadget.

The Crust:
The pizza crusts always come out thick and perfect: slightly cripsy on the outside and wonderfully soft on the inside and far surpasses the pizza stones in the quality of the crust.

The Quantity Made:
The pizza comes out about 1 1/2 inches thick and generally makes enough to feed 8 people. I have not tried to bake a frozen pizza in the oven, so am not aware of its capabilities in that area, but from a home-made pizza standpoint this is the best gadget you can get.

The Recipe Pamphlet:
The recipe pamphlet included with the pizza maker gives a choice of two dough recipes as well as for a multitude of different pizzas, all of which are excellent and give a good basis for experimentation.

Some tips for the buyer:
Put any veggies containing a lot of water (such as green peppers) on the pizza 5 minutes before the pizza is finished instead of at the beginning. The veggies will come out warm and crunchy and do not waterlog the crust. Remember that 20 minutes is the cooking time, not the making time. Leave about 1 1/2 hours for total preparation.

All I can say is that it comes out like N.Y pizza. I gave it to me daughter for christmas 2yrs. ago and I love the pizza you can get that great crust. I am about to
order another one for myself.

I love my Breadman Ultimate. It makes perfect, fluffy 100% whole wheat bread from the recipe in the book -- so perfect that even people who don't like whole wheat bread like this. This is no small thing, as whole grain bread (the only kind I want to eat) tends to be dense and sometimes a chore to eat. I like to make my own bread so that I know what is in it and so I can eat healthier. I love the dispenser for seeds, as I don't want to hang around and try not to miss the beep. I like that I can choose the loaf size, so when I have company I can make a larger loaf, instead of having to make two, and can make smaller loaves the rest of the itme so the bread is always fresh. I read some other reviews that say they have had problems with the bread pan and with ambient temperatures affecting the bread. All I can say is I have had none of those. I have had the machine for about three years and lived in a drafty house on the Canadian border and in a tight modern apartment in Michigan and have used it weekly for much of that time and see no problems. It is a little workhorse that gives consistent results. I recommned this machine highly.

I've had this bread machine for about a year and a half. It really does a nice job and is quite easy to use. We use it fairly often, especially with colder weather coming on, whenever a hot, fresh loaf of bread is desired! We've tried several of the recipes in the instruction manual and have enjoyed them all. I noticed one reviewer complained about not being able to order replacement parts. I accidentally tossed my kneading paddle in the trash and was able to quickly reorder one using the number in the manual for $8. The customer service rep was very kind and helpful. I'm planning on buying one of these machines for my parents for Christmas this year and would recommend the Breadman to anyone who is looking for a reasonably priced, quality machine.

I love my Breadman machine, and use it twice a week to bake bread. Very convenient, easy to clean. The difference between homemade bread, and store bought--no contest! I wondered what made me wait so long, to buy this machine. I have since bought one for my father as a birthday gift. I love to make pizza dough with this machine, as well as flavored breads.

This bread machine is the best...have had a bread machine before and wore it out, but it never was as good as this is.
I received the machine 48 hours ago and my husband and I have made 2 batches of pizza dough, 1 white 2 lb loaf (good), 1 cinnamon raisin 2lb loaf(MMMMMmmm), 1 two cheese 2 lb loaf (great)and now we are discussing the next one to try.
The recipes included with the Breadman so far have worked perfectly, and we really expect that our other recipes will work just as well. I would DEFINITELY recommend this machine.

I'd had a cheaper, simpler breadmaker for a few years, and it finally died, so my husband ordered this one from Amazon for me. I love it! My first loaf was wonderful,though the browning was a little uneven. Later batches have been much better. I read some of the problems noted here, but haven't had such experiences. I do use the French bread feature, even though the shape is odd, but I also sometimes just make dough, and bake myself. This allows me to make braided or round loaves, for example. I've also made pizza dough. I've only rarely had the paddle stay stuck in the loaf -- a really annoying problem with my old breadmaker. Also, the pan really is NON stick. My old breadmaker's finish was supposed to be, but things really stuck to it! I'd recommend this breadmaker, and will probably buy one for my best friend also!

This machine is unbelieveable! I've never baked a thing in my life! There are step-by-step directions in the users manual that made it very easy to start as soon as UPS pulled away. The dough paddle got loose after the first loaf. I did call the company and am still waiting for the new one they promised me but I can still use it so it's no big deal. I've had it for a month and have made 10 different loaves in it! (A loaf makes a great gift to a neighbor.) The bread tastes much better than what you can buy from the bakery. You get what you pay for.

Ordered and received this product during the holidays; Despite previous reviewers comments, I have no complaints about packaging...it arrived all in one piece. Maybe Amazon improved upon their packaging method? I've been using this panini maker for a month, and I've been very happy with it. Bread grills evenly, and the ingredients inside the panini heat sufficiently (cheese melts etc.)The finished panini always look professionally prepared. I have prepared several different panini using varied ingredients and breads, and all have come out great! One hint...bread should not be too soft or sliced too thin. Rather than brush the outside of the bread with oil as the directions indicate, I just spray both sides with cooking spray...it works fine and is not too greasy!
Only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because the grill grates are not removable and so clean up is a bit of a hassle. But...don't let that stop you; this a a GREAT product for the price!

Mine arrived in perfect condition, despite being packed in only the shelf box. What a solid piece of equipment for the price! It browns the bread evenly and perfectly. I've tried the Foreman grills, a Hamilton Beach grill and this grill is the only one to give me a perfect panini. And having it delivered to my door with no added shipping or tax makes the price unbeatable. If you love grilled sandwiches, order one of these right now, you won't be sorry. And Amazon is just first rate to work with under any circumstances. It's the place I look first.

This is an excellent machine in all respects, and very surprising because the price is so reasonable. I liked it so much, I bought two: one for home and another for the office. Now, I'm a hero [not a sandwich] both at home and at work!

I only bought this machine to make sourdough bread from scratch. If you are fine with store bought mix than save some money and buy a different machine. It doesn't have 300 cycles, it comes with a manual that has 300 recipes. It bakes bread just fine, but so does the 8 year old toastmaster that I bought for $50. And the toastmaster makes butter...

I recieved this machine for Christmas, and the next evening made a loaf of white bread from a mix that turned out perfectly- I didn't realize at the time what needed to be done to set the machine on the rapid cycle, so wound up with a 3 hour 20 minute normal cycle. The bread turned out wonderful, and I got several compliments the next day when I took some to work with me.

A second loaf of Hawaiian Delight bread didn't work so well on the rapid cycle, I wound up with a lump of half-raw dough that didn't rise at all. It may just have been bad yeast, or maybe certain mixes don't work well on the rapid cycle.

I am trying my third loaf of bread today, Honey Oatmeal on the timer, and it should be done when I get home from work. I have only had this machine four days, but so far have been very pleased with the results. This is my first bread machine, and making fresh bread is so easy & so much fun!

This is our first bread maker, so we have nothing to compare it to. We bought the Breadman TR444 because it appeared to have what we needed. A basic machine. It has 22 programs. My blender has 75 speeds on it but I only use the fast and slow speed. So we thought 22 programs would be fine and skip the more expensive 100+ program machines. Our first loaf was made from Continental Mills Bavarian Pumpernickel Rye machine mix. Adding the ingredients was easy and we found the machine to be quiet. There is a paddle on the bottom of all the units and they do whirl around. As in any mixer, it does make noise but not at all the noise that a dedicated mixer would. The pan it one of the heaviest that is on the market. Programming it was very easy. Once this is done the unit is on its own for about three and a half hours with a standard mix. Once completed, the pan was easy to pull out and drop out the loaf. The Teflon paddle was on the bottom of the loaf. I used a pair of wood tongs to extract the paddle. No problem. The heavy pan seemed to pay off. The bread was evenly cooked with a fine crust all around. Cleaning the pan with warm water was all that was needed. We had great success with our first loaf. I know cake mixes are not all the same so when it came to bread mix, I bought a few, just to see how much different they were. We were very happy with this bread mix and happier with the Breadman machine. Both worked out great.

Hi, I must have thrown the agitator out with the last loaf of bread that we didn't get eaten before it went bad. Sometimes it sticks in the loaf. How can I get a replacement? We really love our machine. I miss using it. Grahamcreek

Amazon describes this item as stainless steel. It's not. I have no idea how well it works, since I had to send it back because it wasn't as described.
