I received mine for Christmas. For some reason, they don't make many electric knives anymore, but this one exceeds my expectations.

I've used it to cut breads and cheeses (for fun) and a multitude of other unnecessary things and it works great. Attractive looking too.

This knife will spoil you. Cutting through the thickest of meat is a breeze. I wanted to order a few for Christmas presents, but they wouldn't guarantee a by Christmas delivery. This is a gift that keeps on giving with years and years of great service!

This is, by far, the best electric knife I have ever used! I have tried many others that cost between 10.00 and 30.00 and all they did was chew whatever you were cutting into pieces. I have come to believe greatly that you get what you pay for. I have used the knife to cut meat and bread. The knife blades are so sharp that they can cut through hot bread without mashing or creating a pile of dust from the crust. My mother has borrowed it because the electric knife she owns just can't "cut it"..haha. I think I will order her one of her own for Christmas this year. You won't regret this purchase..look at it this way..you can spend 50.00 now and never have to worry about getting another electric knife or you can spend 20.00 and be back looking for another one in a year.

I bought this Cuisinart toaster about a month ago. Previously, I owned a cheap Toastmaster two slice toaster that I had since college.

This toaster is compact but has everything you could need. It has slots wide enough for homemade bread and bagels, a reheat and defrost button and a cancel button. It is a very powerful toaster for sandwich bread. The first time I used it I was too excited to read the instructions first so I set the LED dial at 5 which was the level I used on my Toastmaster. That was a mistake because I burnt the toast crisp. This toaster I only have to set to a 2 to get my toast a nice brown shade. It really puts off the heat. I don't eat bagels so I can't say how it does on them. On Toaster Strudels it works well at a level 4 or 5 setting.

I love this toaster and would buy it again!

Perfect toaster. This is a very very awesome toaster. Way above the regular Black and Decker, or any other Toaster out there.

I like the cool electronic buttons on it, i.e. Cancel, reheat... etc.

Okay, my original review below. That was toaster #1. We had it replaced by the store, and the second model seems to be working great. We really like the look and utility of the thing.

One of the nicest little features is that when toast is finished, it will stay mostly down in the slot to stay warm. But a spring handle allows you to push it up a little higher, preventing you from burning your fingertips on the machine, or electrocuting yourself when trying to dig your slice out using the butter knife. All-in-all, pretty decent.(...)This is the world's greatest 6-sided toaster.

See, you put four slices of toast in the thing, and 6 sides come out toasted to perfection instead of all 8. Two sides will come out completely untouched. It's ridiculous.

The two center slices will have the sides which faced the middle of the toaster totally unscathed. And we could see that the elements were working there, but just not hot enough.

We liked the look of this toaster, but since it doesn't work at all, it was useless. There are many $25 toasters that do a vastly better job.

We're returning ours, and seeking another better model.
