Wow, I definitely recommend the Freshlife sprouter to anyone who wants to be able to grow and eat their own organic sprouts. This machine was easy to set up, and even easier to operate. Once the sprouter's assembled, all you really need to do to get started is add water, add seeds, and plug it in. After that, all you need to do is change the water once a day, and the sprouter does the rest for you!

And the sprouts that come out of the Freshlife are amazing. I think a big part comes from the peace of mind that I feel, knowing that what I'm eating hasn't come into contact with any pesticides or other chemicals that covers store-bought produce.

I love my Froth Au Lait - it's easy to use, easy to clean, makes delicious froth of just plain milk, plus I make raspberry mochas or hot cocoa and it's a delight.

I have used the Froth Au Lait for about 2 years and love it. The unit uses 2 opposing paddles to produce thick and hot froth then shuts off. The manual says DO NOT put the pitcher in the dishwasher, but I do and have never had a problem.

I drink mocha cappuccino espresso. I simply put my chocolate in the pitcher with the milk and press the on button. I do not like the froth quite as thick, so I lift the pitcher before its finished and poor the froth into a 15 oz cup with my espresso. Both my espresso and froth are ready at the same time.

This is a great machine.

I have to say I really don't like this product. It is really loud, uses a lot of electricity, takes up a ton of counter space, and only extends the life of fruit for maybe a week or two - not worth the additional electricity expense! Doesn't work on grapes at all, marginal with tangerines, but does make bananas last a little longer. If it's frugality you're looking for, it's a lot cheaper to just buy new bananas every week rather than fork over an additional $50 per year in added electricity costs. I'm an appliance junkie, but I'm not sure this one is worth keeping and may be sending it back. Sounded like such a great idea!

I plugged my Fruit Saver in and immediately noticed the fan sound. After reading the manual and watching it, I realized this thing never gets "cold enough" and turns off. It just keeps making noise and using 84 watts of electricity 24 hours a day. At my rates in the Seattle area, this much electricity costs over $50 a year. Between the purchase price and electricity use, Fruit Saver isn't a Money Saver.

Only about half our fruit would fit in the device. Even the picture in the ad shows half the fruit in the Fruit Saver, and half on the counter. If our family of 4 only had the amount of fruit that fits in a Fruit Saver, we would eat it so fast we wouldn't need a Fruit Saver.

Please: Someone make a Fruit Saver that is quiet, efficient, and big enough to hold a small family's fruit!

I was interested in purchasing this item as a gift for my mom after seeing it advertised in several catalogs. However, I was dissuaded by the negative reviews on this site. Finally, when I couldn't think of anything else to get her, I went on and ordered it. We haven't tried it, but I plugged it in to see if it's as noisy as the other reviews say, and it's not at all. It's about as loud as, say, my refrigerator or the air ducts when the heat pump's on, except I understand it may run all the time, not just cycle on and off. The reason for not 5 stars is we haven't actually tried it yet, but it seems to me a perfect Mother's Day gift.
