i purchased this item back when they cost alot more than now and I love it! It works great for two or three people and easy to clean up afterwards. Much easier than starting the big grill and swatting flies. I find it works better when you turn the food over half way through cooking, as it browns nicer. Otherwise I can't think of anything I would change about it.

This grill blows the Foremen away!! We cook everything on it. Hamburgers, steak, bacon, eggs. The cooking surface is X-Large and easy clean up. I recomend this grill to everyone.

I was bought this as a gift and it was something I would never have thought of buying otherwise. I have, however, found that I use it more than any other piece of cooking equipment! It is light, compact, easy to clean and cooks food quickly and easily.
I have found it especially good for fatty meats such as bacon, and for food which absorbs oil like eggplant and hot dogs. The recipe book is full of great ideas for quick meals as well! This would be a fantastic Christmas gift!

This little washer does everything the large washer will, at half the price. When I first started it up, it did leak. However, I found it was my error and all it needed was some tightening on the drain line clamp. It is quiet, efficient, and fits into quiet places. The perfect addition to any small garage apartment, or other small area. Best of all, it connects to a kitchen sink and is 110 and not 220. I would recommend it to anyone. Just remember, a year's use and it has paid for itself when you don't have to go to the laundry mat.

The odor eliminator does work in small places such as the bathroom or a closet. It's quiet and the filter has lasted for 6 months.

These filters fit both our models 4251/4271 and HB's TrueAir webpage indicates these filters fit all 3 of their Odor Eliminator models. Our house has a smoker, 4 small dogs and we burn candles. We need to replace filters every 6+ months. The units still work fine after 3 years but, they are small and only plug into out of the way receptacles.

I have exchanged this coffeemaker 3 times and am now going to have to spend more money to find a different brand. The first machine I had leaked horribly and the seal that dispenses the coffee wouldn't close resulting in me getting up in the morning to find a whole pot of coffee all over my counter and floor. This happened on several occasions. The second exchanged machine had the digital display go out so you could not set it to program or know the time of day. The 3rd machine I brought home had the digital display go out again after 4 months. The concept and design is great, however the bugs need to be worked out. The other thing is the brewed coffee container stains horribly and is very difficult to clean and I clean mine every morning. You have to be gentle with it so the seal is undisturbed. I also bought the gold permanent filter basket made to go with the machine and it caused major leaking from the top of the compartment and coffee that was full of grounds. I also spoke to Hamilton Beach concerning my problems and they had a very oh well, too bad attitude. I am now looking into a Braun or Mellita.

I was really looking forward to owning this coffee maker, but am very disappointed in it. First, the clock started shutting itself off and when I would try to reset it, the numbers would only be half there. I would have to unplug it and leave it unplugged for 5 minutes or so. Now I'm afraid to leave it plugged in over night, which makes the extra money I paid to have the model with the timer a waste! Then, it stopped keeping the coffee warm for more than a half hour. Then, the coffee wouldn't even be warm while it was brewing. Now, it's started leaking all over my counter. I have to keep a cup under it. I've only had this model for about 2 months. The problems started immediately! It's going back to the store tomorrow! I'm giving it 2 stars because it's a great concept. But, Hamilton Beach should have tested and perfected it before putting it on the market. What a hassle!

I can't believe the number of people having trouble with this coffee maker. It's very easy to operate and maintain and the coffee tastes fine. It's not that much bigger as a standard maker (as one review stated it was too big). It would be nice to have a lifetime free pass at Starbucks, but until then, I think the HB Brew Station is tops for convienent coffee.

In need of a humidifier and having read some of the reviews, I decided to purchase the Hamilton Beach Humidifer.
The pros: 1. On the "quiet" setting the water usually lasts 24+ hours before needing a refill.
The cons: 1. The machine is far from quiet on any setting.
2.It humidifies far less square footage than specified, even on the highest setting.
3.It eats filters, which are difficult to find by the way. If you decide to purchase this item, buy several replacement filters.
4.The tank cap is difficult to remove and appears to have been designed for the hands of a small child, but a child with the strength of an adult.
5. It is relatively expensive. I have a warm mist model that works just as well and requires only a bit more attention to maintain.

I have had this humidifier for about two months now and have found the following:

PROS:
1.This humidifier works well for me. I keep it in my bedroom and only use it at night and I like the white noise that the quiet setting gives off.
2. It does a fair job.
3. It has a digital readout (very nice feature).
4. It has a large water tank.
5. It is easy to use.
6. I have not had any mechanical problems with it.

CONS:
1. The filters have to be replaced about once a week, otherwise they get moldy and start to smell (and who wants to breathe in mold?)
2. The filters are WAY too expensive. Amazon sells them for seven bucks and this is the cheapest I have found. This is a lot of money to shell out every week.
3. Filters are hard to find. Not many places carry them.
4. The cap on the water tank is VERY hard to open. It takes forever to get it off.

Bottom line, I would not purchase this humidifier again simply because I hate shelling out 28 bucks every month for filters. Even though the cap is hard to get off, it isn't impossible and its something I can live with. Maybe HB will come out with a filter that can be reused by putting it through the dishwasher or something, but until then I would not recommend purchasing this humidifier unless you have a lot of money to put into buying filters. Even though it works well, it just isn't worth it.

I bought this humidifier a month ago after much research. So far, it hasn't shown any mechanical trouble. The filter is holding up just fine after 4 weeks, despite daily use. Surely the quality of water in your area dictates how frequently you will need to change the filter. Nevertheless, it is recommended that you flip the filter over (to prolong it's life)when you refill the water. In my case, filter change maybe warranted no sooner than 2-3 months.

The large capacity of the water tank is good enough for 24 hour operation (on quiet setting). I use it all day night long on the low setting and it uses up about half the amount of water in the tank. At first the low setting may seem noisy especially if there is very little ambient noise around you (like when you can hear the wall clocks in your house ticking). But after a few minutes it sounds just like a dull whirring sound that is hardly objectionable. I use it in my bedroom at night and it doesn't disturb my sleep.

It is easy to see the level of water through the tinted tank. The water tank is easily removable when handled vertically. There is no leakage/spilling when you do so. There is a wide fill hole at the bottom of tank for refilling water. There are two problems though with refilling ...firstly the tank is too large to fit under the faucet in the kitchen sink, so you need a jug or hose to fill it up or use the faucet in the bathtub...secondly, the cap on the fill hole is pretty tight (the upside is that it is spill-proof) so I wouldn't recommend the unit for feeble people.

The other part of the unit, housing the motor and fan, comes off easily too. I do wish it had a latch, because you need to be careful not to knock it off when removing the water tank. When the water tank is replaced on the base tray, some water from the container fills up the tray, making a gurgling sound. It makes the same tiny gurgling sound periodically during operation too. This water in the tray is taken up gradually by the filter (which sits under the motorized fan), to generate the humidity when the fan is on.

The digital panel is easy to read. I do not however agree with the humidistat's reading. I have another humidistat in the room that I compare the reading to. The humidifier's reading is always lower, usually by 8 to 10 percent. Setting the desired level of humidity is simple although it can be done only in 5 percent increments. The unit shuts of automatically when the desired hunidity level is reached.

The base is easy to lift if the unit needs to be moved. Of course it is much more convenient to do so after removing the heavy water tank. As long as care is taken not to slant the base tray, there is no leakage or spill.

One point to consider if you are paying heating bills in the winter is that, since this IS a cool-mist himidifier, it will make the room cooler. So you may need to turn up the heat in the room a notch.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the unit's performance and recommend it to any able-bodied adult considering a cool-mist humidifier. To sum up, here are the PROS and CONS:

CONS:
1. Water tank is too large to fit under kitchen faucet
2. Cap on fill hole is tight. Some strength required to turn it
3. Humidistat not accurate
4. Motor unit is not securely latched to base tray to prevent accidentally knocking it off when removing water tank.

PROS:
1. Very good performance
2. Low operating sound on quiet setting
3. No leakage or spilling when handled correctly
4. Portable
5. Dishwasher safe; Easy to clean
6. Desired humidity level can be set manually
7. Automatic shut-off when desired humidity reached

PRO/CON depending on whether you live in hot or cold climate: Makes the room cooler.

It gets the job done, but is so sensitive and flimsy that the wash load is thrown off balance in EVERY spin cycle. You pretty much have to babysit the machine and rebalance the wet wash every time it tries to spin. That said, over time it's cheaper than wash-and-fold and less of a hassle than going to the laundromat.

This little washer works pretty good. Fast and clean. Save enery and time. Not consuming too much water and electricity.
One thing bad is that the faucet adaptor is not strong enough. It was pushed away by the water pressure the first time I used it. I replaced it with an all-screw adapter bought from homedepot. Then everything is OK.
I realy like this washer.

I bought the previous model of intellitoast a couple years ago. It died this morning in a burst of light. My mom has one on the fritz, too. Maybe there just aren't any good toasters in the world. This one stinks - never works right. Have fun!

We've been using this toaster for almost a year now. It seems to be getting less powerful with age! It now takes one and a half cycles to get the bread toasted enough, when it only used to take one cycle on 6. Oh well, so much for the "IntelliToast" concept but it still works. Nothing special, just a regular old toaster.

The flaw is that the highest setting (6) does NOT toast an English Muffin adequately. Otherwise, a five star appliance.

The Toaster worked good for about 6 months and then nothing but
trouble! Un-even toasting, settings not working.
Now the right side 2 slots stopped working!
This toaster is not a 1 Star, it is a NO STAR, ZERO, DO NOT BUY!
Todays Toasters are designed to last about a year, too expensive and the market offers no real safety issues. What to Buy, I wish I could recommend my Grandmother's Toaster, but they don't make Great Toaster that last 20 years!

Don't bother with this one. Like other people that have reviewed this product, one side does not stay down unless you turn it up all the way. The other side one side of the toast burnt the other side golden, controls don't seem to do anything.

If you like your toast burned on one side, golden on the other, this is the toaster for you. The bagel/toast option is great in theory but it does not work. I intend to put this little darling out of its' misery with a sledgehammer.
