I had 3 of these for almost 2 years. What a great value. Easy to clean, thick anodized alum allows even cooking. Exterior surface can scratch easily but non-stick interior surface is excellent and long lasting if you follow the manufacturer directions for taking care of it.

i just recieved my pan today it is everything i'd hoped for i can't wait to use it and i'm looking forward to having this pan for many years

This pot is an exceptionally good investment, and an unbeatable value. I have used it to cook spaghetti sauce, braised beef with onion gravy, stew, chili, meatballs in sauce...you name it! The results have been excellent. Keep it on low simmer, and it requires just about no watching. It's a snap to clean. I have also bought one of these wonderful Analon pots for my son, who enjoys cooking for himself and his family.

To sum it all up: I LOVE THIS POT!

When you have to fry a lot of things, like more than a dozen Asian potsticker hors d'oeuvres, this pan is perfect for the job. And with its first class Dupont Autograph lining, the potstickers won't stick! I was initially concerned about uneven frying since the pan's size was much larger than my stove's burner, but the anodized aluminum material conducts heat so evenly that my potstickers turned out perfectly! It has a number of great features, too, like a tight-fitting glass lid and a helper handle, which makes it easy to carry this heavy pan. If you've got room in your kitchen shelf, consider adding this to your cookware collection. It feels so solid and strong that it could probably survive a nuclear disaster, and its nonstick lining is the best that I've had in my kitchen. The only downside is its relatively large girth which makes it somewhat awkward to wash if you have a small sink.

This pan has an excellent non-stick surface, good handles and very even heat distribution. The helper handle makes it easy to move or lift the pan while it's loaded. The glass lid is especially nice for monitoring simmered dishes. It's big enough to hold a dozen large sausages, pan fry seven chicken breasts, or make large batches of spaghetti sauce or any skillet recipe. I wish the knob on the lid was easier to grip with a pot holder or mitt, like the Anolon professional version, but I feel this pan is a better overall value for the money.

Everything simply slides right off of these pots and pans! They are very sturdy and functional. The handles have no rivets that go through the pan and collect gunk, and they are oven proof up to 350 F, a great feature. I also love the clear lids that let me see what I am cooking.
I have never put these through the dish washer nor have I used any cooking sprays on them. Both of these things are supposed to be harmful to the teflon coating, but I have found that nothing will stick to them so cleaning is easy, and little oil is needed. This set came with everything I needed for my daily cooking needs, but I have recently added the pasta pot and griddle to my collection and love them both.

I recently was looking through Amazon's site and saw the price on this set and I was amazed. My wife and I received this set almost 10 years ago as a wedding gift. At that time it sold for about [money]. Our set still looks almost new! The clear glass lids work great and are very rugged. They have been dropped and banged around many times with no ill effects. Our saute pan is showing signs of wear but considering it is used every day it still lets a fried egg slide right out with no oil! I'm planning on buy another set and just keeping in the attic!! The bonus casserole pan makes this offer almost to hard to believe! Buy this with confidence!

I love this set. The nonstick surface works very well, and is easy to clean. The see-thru lids are nice, and the work well on the saute pans and skillets as well (even though they aren't pictured that way). The lids make great splatter screens. The quality is very good. These items were on our wedding registry. What a great, lasting item.

This is a very nice size griddle pan. You can cook sausage and egg breakfast for 2 or warm a tortilla for a burrito or to make rolling an enchilada easier. The pan has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy. My Apartment has an electric stove and the large burner on medium to medium-low heats this pan very evenly. It does not seem to have any hot spots, so food cooks and browns quite evenly. The high domed lid from Anolon's 12-inch stir-fry fits this griddle very well giving it even more versatility.

I bought a whole set of Anolon cookware and got the griddle and a chef's pan as a bonus. I love this cookware - just care for it as the enclosed directions instruct and you will have no problems. The griddle makes great pancakes, french toast, and eggs. It heats tortillas really well, also. Buy with confidence and enjoy your new cookware.

With the recommended care and cautions, these products should last a lifetime. After several uses, the product still looks new. Lesser cookware's outer areas and bottom are virtually impossible to clean, even though the cooking area is OK.

If I have read correctly, Meyer will replace broken glass lids that come with some of their other products if the ring (and knob?) are returned to them. This fact makes me feel a lot better about the lids and even more positive about the company.

I like the bakelite knobs and handles; they do not require potholders for stovetop use.... However, they are limited to 350 degrees in the oven.

I bought the 12-piece set of analon classic and really love them. I love them so much that I've ordered this stir fry pan and lid which has not yet been delivered, but I'm sure I'll love it too.

Meyer manufactures Analon so they know all the pieces that are available. I wonder how this pan compares with the Analon Classic 12-inch skillet, no lid, ASIN B0000A0VG2? The lid-less pan is listed in its specs as being 3" deep but this one's depth is not given. Carefully comparing the enlarged images of both pans, especially where the rivets are relative to the bottom of the pan, it would seem that this one is deeper than 3". Its depth is not given. I hope so. This pan is priced at more than three times that of the lid-less 12-inch pan. A lid isn't worth that much!

I've been using Analon cookwear for a couple of years now. I LOVE this set! Totally non stick surface is so easy to clean! I was so excited to find the covered stir fry pan. You WILL NOT be disappointed with this item - or any of the Analon cookwear items!

When I switched to radiant instead of electric or gas, I needed new pots/pans that are REALLY flat so food cooks evenly rather than burn on the spot that touches and doesn't cook on spots that don't.

I bought the 12-piece set of analon classic and really love them. I love them so much that I ordered this stir fry pan and lid. I love this pan so much. I admire its shape and everything. It's my most used pan. It's really big and deep, and the curved sides make it easy to stir things around; nothing gets caught in the angle. And it's a wok with a modified bottom that works on radiant heat!

I love my Anolon Classic cookware and have accumulated about 30 pieces including 4 qt. and 10 qt. Dutch ovens. I prefer the Classic series because of the material used for the handles. This item has metal handles like the Professional cookware although the pictures on the side of the box show the Classic resin handles. I haven't used this and might send it back. I would for sure if I could exchange it for the 5.5 qt. 'true' Classic at a comparable price but for some unknown reason it costs three times as much.

All i have to say is, this pot is GREAT!

This is one of the best Dutch Ovens I have owned. For couples or small families it is the perfect size. I like it best because it can go from stovetop to oven (over 350 degrees). This pan make roasting meats fun again, You can brown it on the stove top and then go right to the oven. It is deep enough that you can leave the lip off and not splatter up the oven to much. It is overall a very versital pan. It does fit the professional series better than the classic, but the price was definitely classic.
