ALL-CLAD BAKEWARE IS THE BEST!
We understand that All-Clad was originally manufactured to meet the rigorous demands of professional chefs. While I'm far from a professional in the kitchen, I can certainly appreciate the high quality of this bakeware.

We've found this loaf pan to be perfect for not only breads and cakes but also our favorite meat loaf. Especially impressive is the way a rich nut filled chocolate cake can be easily removed from this pan. In the past, I had to serve the cake in the baking pan because it always crumbled when I tried to remove it. Not so with All-Clad! Of course, loaves of white bread seem to simply slip out.

The gold color is very attractive and cleaning is a breeze. When All-Clad says non-stick they really mean it. Metal utensils aren't a no-no as they are with some other high end baking or cooking pans.

Someday, we hope all of our pans will be All-Clad!

Expensive but Worth It
I own these & use them frequently. Before baking, I prepare the pans by oiling them very lightly; breads are easy to unmold. I love being able to use metal utensils with the stick-resistant surface. Clean-up is a breeze. I use a nylon brush, then follow up with a sponge. I expect these pans to last a lifetime.

Nice product, but not like other (U.S. made) All-Clad
Having a number of All Clad products in my kitchen, I was excited to see this stockpot at such a low "close out" price. When it arrived, I was somewhat disappointed to see that it is not the same construction or quality as the other All Clad cookware that I have. When I ordered it, I wondered why this 12 qt pot was priced so much less than other smaller stockpots (and about 1/3 the price of the All Clad pasta cooker), and now I know - this "multi cooker" was not made in the U.S., it was made in China (as is the Emerilware). It seems deceptive (and is disappointing) that this bears the exact same label as the U.S. product and the description gives no indication that it is anything less than the same U.S. made All Clad, which is well known to many of us. However, in fairness, I need to say that priced at under [$$$], this is still one heck of a pot that I will enjoy using, but just be aware that it is a different quality of All Clad cookware.

I research before I purchase.
I'm always amazed at reviews that express shock or disappointment at the product. This is because Amazon does a great job with being clear and up front on items...especially all-clad.
This item is a particular value. I found it to be as good as most of my all-clad collection, and having the same sturdy construction. Considering the lid, the pot, the two baskets, I regard this not simply as a quality item, but an exceptional value too.
It may not be great for a lobster bake, but for soups, stock, pasta, shellfish like mussels or clams, shrimp...it is a hit. Best of all, there is no obligation to keep a product you don't like.
I think this will be one of the pieces I use most frequently.

Excellent Purchase
It is true that this stockpot is differently constructed if compared to the ususal all clad stockpot. But there is a reason for it. It is made to be used for pasta kind of cooking. It is not usefull to have very thick steel on sides for these type of cooking uses. For other purpose, you want to have as even heat distribution as you can using steel thickness to acheive distribution of heat.

The bottom is ULTRA THICK and it is solid and heavy.

Overall I consider I made a very good purchase.

Cooks good- but holes leave mess
I received this pizza pan as a wedding shower gift and was very excited to use it. It bakes the pizza evenly but it is difficult to clean out any sauce/crust that had gotten caught into the holes. It also is rather large and doesn't fit into our dishwasher so must be washed by hand.

    Great pizza but messy!
This pizza pan will give you the crispy crust you so desire, but when you cut the pizza, little crumbs will slip through all those little holes right onto your counter top. Just don't do the cutting on the stovetop cause it's a real mess then!!

If you make pizza at home you must have this pan!
I like to make pizza at home, I have ever since I was a small child. Whether it be sauce from a jar and English muffin rounds - I know what I like. We were given this pan as a gift. It, like many other gifts, sat around unused for some time. One day, for no reason other than I wanted to try something new, I picked up a pizza kit at Aldi's. For those of you not familiar, this is a great store with really low prices. Because of the low prices I questioned the quality but decided it was worth the $1.99 investment. So I followed the package directions, let the dough sit 20 minutes and used the Calphalon pan. The crust was awesome. Everyone raved about it and my husband is notoriously picky. We now use this pan every time we make pizza at home. With a $1.99 pizza kit, and don't get me wrong, there are others more expensive and tons of other options with what dough you use, but with a $1.99 kit and this pan - you have fresh pizzeria style pizza every time! It's definitely worth the investment!

    Inexpensive All-clad pot
Wow! a 20 qt pot for this low price? Well the disadvantage is that the bottom has that nice thick triple layer of metal, but then it's inferiorly bonded to the sides. There is a lip which looks like it would trap the bits of burnt food etc right where the bottom part meets the sides.

If you need a pot this big, keep looking.

    Great pot for big jobs!
I purchased this pot recently to make a corned beef dinner for 12 people on St. Patrick's Day. Knowing I would need a pretty big pot, I checked the local restaurant supply and found some bad looking stainless steel and cast aluminum pots (and I should mention that I personally can't stand the 'grating' feel you get from scrubbing aluminum) in the $150 to $250 range. At $120, this pot seemed like a better value, so I took a chance and ordered it.

Let me tell you, I'm glad I did! I was concerned from the picture that the outside surface was aluminum but, but it is actually a very nice brushed stainless steel. I also own some of the thick and heavy (and expensive) All-Clad stainless line, and while the sides of this big pot are thinner (making it lighter to handle), it is every bit the quality product you would expect. I will be making many more big meals in it for years to come!

A good stock pot for the money
I purchased the 16-quart version of this stock pot as a gift for my mother, who wanted a large, very heavy stock pot but didn't want to spend several hundred dollars. For the price, this is an excellent, heavy, stock pot. I own a 6 quart All-Clad stainless stock pot as well and have been very pleased with it.

Since another reviewer was so negative, I thought I would add my $.02 to the versions I did not purchase, since they are made in the same way as the 16 quart.

I will admit that the description is somewhat misleading -- according to the All-Clad representative I emailed and to my observations of the pot, it is not "clad" all the way up the side but has the aluminum core only on the bottom (the same goes for the 20 and 24 quart versions). This is not part of the durable, timeless All-Clad stainless line; this doesn't discount it as a quality product, though.

While this does have a "lip" where the clad bottom meets the stainless sides, it is on the outside of the pot, not the inside, so there is no danger of food getting caught or burning, as another reviewer warned. The inside is smooth from the bottom up.

Is this the exact same quality as the All-Clad stainless line? No, but at about 1/3 the price of the stainless 12 quart stock pot, it is a great alternative and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. It is an *extremely* heavy stock pot, far superior to other stock pots in this price range.

All Clad's lower quality set of stock pots
Don't be fooled, this pot is not up to the usual standards of All-clad's pots. It appears that to cut the cost, they only made the bottom thick with that triple layer of metal. Normally that wouldn't be a problem, but the bonding of the bottom to the sides leaves a lip where food can catch and get burnt into the pan. (difficult to clean)

If you need a big pot, keep looking.

If you have an army to feed, this is the one
This pot is HUGE. You could probobly cook 6-8 lobsters or have an awsome clam bake with it. It's beautiful, heavy and unbelievably priced.

    I cook for a living...
I bought one of these for my kitchen at home and, Yes...it is from China, No...it's not 3 ply but yes...it is the best stock pot for the price!!!
I have equiped many a professional kitchen and if you are looking for a STAINLESS 16 qt. stock pot with a 3 ply bottom AND a lid in a professional line get thee to a bank loan officer. A stock pot of this height for home use doesn't need to be 3 ply up the sides so this one is adequate.
Do get back to me if you find a better 16 qt. stock pot at a better price.

We slap 4 mojo*z on dis bad boy!

    Not 3-Ply, but Still Overpriced
Yes, it's made in China. No, it's not 3-ply. No, you're not going to get food in the aluminum-sandwich ridge. I am quite happy with this STOCK POT from All-Clad. It is not as nice as my 8 qt stock pot, but if it was 3-ply construction, this pot would probably cost 4X what I paid. It is, however, the most heavy-duty stock pot on the market (in its size), and it is plenty heavy duty for making STOCK.

Other nits about it are that the sides below the top 1" are brushed and not polished, and the lid is an odd-ball size which doesn't fit anything else that All-Clad makes. On the plus side, the top edge is flared out which adds circumferential strength and makes it easy to pour. Note the construction of the 12 qt multi-pot is inferior to this one and has a top edge that is rolled over that drips and collects crud. Pass on the multi-pot...

    all-clad
Nope, I don't have these but I'd buy them in a second if there was a 1/3 cup. Please make one.

    What's Missing?
First of all, I do not own this All-Clad scoop set, but I am in the market to buy. So why am I writing this "review?" In the hopes that All-Clad will take note and include a 1/3 cup in this scoop set (it's such a common measurement, I was amazed it is not included). That's why I gave it a "rating" of 3 stars (otherwise, I'm sure it would have deserved 5).
Secondly, if it is added to this set, I would definitely buy it. I own many All-Clad products, and they are without a doubt the best kitchen products I've ever owned!

Nice, but I wish it had a 1/8 & 1/3 cup spoons too.
Large measuring spoons are really nice for the baker in your family. Need to add another cup of flour, just dip the large spoon into the bag and away you go.

The finish on these spoons is top notch. Fits right in with everything else All-clad makes.

My only complaint is that I'd like a larger set of these spoons, The 1/8 cup and a 1/3 cup sizes would be really handy. Of course if you don't have a set of measuring cups, get those first. The cups will sit on the counter with their flat bottoms, unlike the spoons which tip over.
