I'll never own other bakeware!This is as close to perfect as you can get with an angel food cake pan. You should definitely follow Calphalon's directions when they say prep the pan as you would any other, and follow the cake recipe as though this were not a non-stick pan. That is the only way you are going to have the easy slide-out.
Take note of the fact that you can't stack Calphalon - make sure you've got the room to store it, and are prepared to take the time to care for it properly. (Paper towels in between)
Also, you cannot put it in the dishwasher. This is a very important point when it comes to Calphalon.
Again, make sure you read the use and care instructions.
You will never need to own another cake pan again.

Same high quality as all the Caphelon bakeware!This is obviously not a must-have for the pantry, but if you are a parent you may find special uses for this with your children. The mini-muffin pan can be used for muffins or cupcakes. Offering children these small cupcakes is a way to offer a complete cupcake without the larger size of a normal cupcake. I'd rather bake great cupcakes from scratch than buying these same sized small ones that are always in the grocery store which are laden with preservatives and chemicals. This small size is great for limiting portions for both adults and children, especially with cupcakes! (I serve the very healthy muffins in the larger size in hope that my children will consume the larger portion.) I have found my children are not receptive to being offered half of a normal sized cupcake so I can use this pan to make smaller sized cupcakes instead. A fun idea to do with the kids is to first put a white colored frosting on the top, then have the children decorate the tops with colored gel frosting, sprinkles or colored sugar however they like. This is a fun activity for holiday parties such as Easter egg hunts or birthday parties. It is easy and fun to make the activity and the food item tied into one rather than have a game or some separate game for me to organize and execute! Serving one cupcake per child for a child's birthday party is a fun alternative to serving an entire cake. (You can save the big cake for the family party instead. In our family I do a separate party for child-friends and family for crowd control purposes.)

One note: you may want to check on your baked goods a couple of minutes early. I have noticed that everything is done a little quicker in pans with a dark finish. Many newer recipes will indicate the timing for dark finish bakeware. These pans are also a breeze to clean, just a little soap and water and you are done.

Finally, A Pan Made Specifically For Brownies!Also, I recommend you pick up the Calphalon nylon baking spatula/cutter and the Calphalon nylon all-purpose spreader. I am not a big fan of nylon utensils (silicone is so much better) but I do like to use the spreader for cutting and the brownies, it is shorter and serrated on one side (it is also great for frosting) and the spatula for lifting them. The spatula is long and flexible so it is easy to get right under them and lift them out of the pan. With the nylon utensils you will not have to worry about damaging the nonstick finish. You could use the spatula to cut as well as it also has a serrated side but it is long and can be a little cumbersome so I prefer the shorter spreader for cutting.

the worst Bundt pan!I expected this to be the best ever, after all that I heard what Amazon buyers had to say about it...
WHAT A BIG DISAPOINTMENT....
I oiled and floured the pan as said, waited for the cake to cool somewhat,and used a thin wooden spoon to go around the sides...I just got it out of the pan,and one half of the cake came out,finally the other half, and all of the bottom of the cake stayed stuck to the pan.This is a cake that I make all the time, with out this much trouble. Glad I was not having any company for this cake ..
I have another cheap nonstick, that doesnt even have a name on it, that works better then this one...
I just bought a few piece of Calphalon Commercial nonstick and Hard-anodized cookware that I just Love, so I expected the same preforminst, what a disapointment...
Will be sending this bundt pan back as soon as I can get the rest of the cake out of it!!
If any of you think that I did something wrong, that I had this much trouble, please let me know?....
I will call Calphalon to find out also...
I did notice when I recieved it,that around the inside of the pan it looks that there is crimp all around it!!!

Perfect Bundt CakeBefore pouring in my cake dough, I grease the inside of this pan with a bit of shortening, wiping off the excess with a paper towel. Although the pan is nonstick, I find that this method works best. I use the shortest of the suggested cooking times for my recipes. If I need to loosen the edges of the baked cake when removing it from the pan, I use a Calphalon nylon spatula/knife. I hand-wash this pan as I do with all my Calphalon cookware and bakeware.

Poor release of yeast breads & difficult to clean afterwardsAnd they are tedious to clean: They are harder to clean than any cast-iron or stainless steel pan. Baking seems actually to forge a new composite material from the metal and the dough. The folds and the corners are natural traps for debris and the worst parts to scrub, but even the flat parts cling to bread.
These are expensive pans and require babying. They have not worked for me, despite my taking extraordinary care to protect their "non-stick" surface and making numerous trials of using different lubricants and oven settings.
