Great Skillet
a great pan at a great priceThe pan is thick (and thus heats evenly), but is still easy to manipulate. The handle (nylon?) stays cool to the touch. The nonstick coating has held up beautifully--food just slides right out of it. Just remember to NEVER USE METAL UTENSILS! (I put a very small scratch in mine by grabbing a metal spatula once without thinking. Fortunately, the scratch didn't penetrate through the nonstick coating, but I should have known better.)
The only reason I'm giving this pan 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn't come with a lid, which is necessary for some cooking tasks. (When I need a lid, I just grab the lid from my wok; it looks ugly, but it mostly works.)
Note that this pan comes in two versions: the Classic version (this version), and the Professional version. The only real difference is the handle: the Professional version has a metal handle and is oven-safe up to 500 degrees F; the Classic version is limited to 350 degrees F. Choose whichever one makes more sense for you.
Value Value Value and Non-stick!Clean-up is sooo easy. I have yet to find anything, melted cheeses, eggs, sauces, that will stick to this pan. Just a little dish detergent and a few swipes of a wet wash cloth cleans it beautifully. I have not put the pan in my dishwasher but this has been my policy with all non-stick pans since I started buying them, so I'm not sure how it would fair being washed that way.
As far as construction, the pan is made well. The handle is securely rooted to the pan with no hint of ever coming loose. It's easy to grip and lift and stays cool during cooking. The pan itself is heavy and the surface promotes very even cooking.
The pan resists stains, as well.
When considering all of the above, the price is so reasonable, almost a steal. I highly recommend you buy this pan.

LOVE IT!They conduct heat unbelievably fast; liquids boil almost in the blink of an eye. Having said that, you have to keep an eye on your meal, and cook on a lower temperature than you normally would.
These are a snap to clean up. I love the glass lids, too....lets you see how things are simmering, boiling etc.
I would say.....worth their weight in gold!
The BEST Cookware EVER!They do require a little more care than cheap Faberware type pans, but it is well worth it. Even though you have to hand wash them (don't put them in the dishwasher), the excellent non-stick surface just wipes clean. Right after cooking, I would rinse the pans and all of the food remanants came right off. After that, all I had to do was wipe them with a soapy cloth and PRESTO, they are clean and ready to use again.
With the non-stick surface and the lower heat (these pans heat up quickly at Medium--saves energy) it also lends to much healthier eating. I was amazed at how many things I could brown without using one drop of oil. The manufacturer recommends not using a lot of oil (it can cause the pans to overheat) and you can take them fully at their recommendation...you really don't need it. I would highly recommend these pans to anyone who is willing to put forth the little care necessary to keep them in good shape.
Healthy, Hassle-Free Cooking and CleanupThe nonstick coating is great if you're health-conscious and want to use less fat, it requires less heat, and it cleans up in a snap. I don't have a dishwasher, so I really appreciate this feature. (Don't wash this cookware in the dishwasher!) If you cook for a larger family you may want to consider the 10 piece set, but if you're starting out and cook smaller quantities this has smaller pans and you can add a larger stockpot or skillet later. Use nonstick utensils to avoid damage to the nonstick surface.
There was a small scratch on the 8-inch skillet when I received the set, so I mailed it back to the Meyer Corporation and they sent me a new skillet very quickly, no questions asked. I have since ordered the 4-quart pasta pot and 10-quart stockpot. I hadn't thought much about cookware until I started using this line, and now I wouldn't trade it for anything! (If you're upgrading, don't throw your old cookware out, give it to your local refugee resettlement agency or charity so someone else can enjoy it!)

Chuck The Charcoal! It has performed perfectly, producing great steaks and chops while obviating the need for an outdoor grill .I just throw the windows open to let the outdoors in ,and its a picnic.
A negative might be size.It only holds enough food for two.
If you need more cooking surface, you might consider a Circulon Classic model.I have one of these as well.It does the same duty at my house, and holds more food ,but takes more space.
Both of these pans feature durable non-stick surfaces and quality construction.
If you want to grill for two,and have limited storage, this little gem should answer for your needs. You can chuck the charcoal too!

I bought this because it was such a great deal - it was a no-lose situation. It is just big enough to fit four pieces of bread on the bottom - making it great for french toast and grilled sandwiches. It is deep enough that it is a great pan for anything that spatters - although my wife seems to stick to the other pans we have for some reason, and we get spatter everywhere. But when I've used it with oil, it works great.
The only issue with it is that it is deep enough that it can be tough when trying to get the spatula into it. But if you're using it with the right purpose in mind, it works really well. Just tough when I've tried to use it for eggs - can't really get in and flip them well. But great for grilled sandwiches, french toast, etc... - where you need more surface area.
