Cookware Set Reviews

This is a basic set of cookware that is very useful in the kitchen. Pots come in two sizes and even two pans, plus a stockpot. The standout of this set is the STEAMER. You wouldn't believe how much you could do with a steamer. It's endless for steaming foods, like vegetables, way better then boiling which drains the nutrients. This set is very complete as far as usefulness goes. Our only compliant is that eggs do stick when you fry, unless you put lots of oii on it (gets yucky). The "nonstick" feature doesn't work as good as I anticipated. I believe it's due to the material... it's just a steel glaze-thing.

Not only do you get the cookware for a great price but it is also a very nice product. It cooks & cleans easily and is very durable. I almost can't believe I got them at such a fantastic price, it makes using them even more enjoyable!!! Needless to say, I am very pleased with my purchase!!!!

I have been looking for a good stainless steel cookware set and I know that Kitchen Aid has a great reputation for making great, long-lasting items. This cookware set proves both! These pots and pans are so very well made and easy to cook with. The straight bottoms of the pans/pots make the food cook evenly, no hot spots! Also, the brushed sides help hide any water/finger marks that stainless steel has the reputation for. But if you do find them to be noticeable, they wipe right off. These are very easy to clean! I have been looking for just the right set and I am glad I made the choice to purchase these! Plus the price was wonderful! I got my monies worth!

I first was drawn to this cookware set because it came with a large stockpot which many don't. I received it for Christmas and know that it was purchased for a lot more than it is selling here. I was outgrowing the assorted cookware that I had accumulated and wanted to get something of better quality however did not want to spend hundreds of dollars for a set. This cooks so much better than the revere ware I grew up on and the things I had aquired. I can not imagine outgrowing this and will add the 3.5 qt. stock pot next. This is a great value!

I purchased this great 9 piece set hoping that it would be all that I expected...and it is!! It is heavy in weight, but not so much that it is hard to manuever on the stovetop. The 18/10 stainless steel cleans like a breeze and provides quick and even heating. I have used T-Fal, Revereware and Magnalite in the past and this set outshines them all in its quality! I only wish that the set came with the 3 1/2 quart saucepot and the 12 inch skillet...they will be my next purchases. I recomend this set to the new and experienced cook alike!

The pots are nice, But there must have been a crack in the glass lid. While cooking sauce the lid shattered and then exploded right in my face. please look over the lids carefully after delivery.

My husband and I have been using this Mirro set since September 2002 and they are wonderful... food doesn't stick and they are nicely sized. Quality and convience apply to this set, plus the lid for the large pot fits on the bigger skillet which allows you to simmer food. If you want a great bargain and quality- go ahead and buy these!!!

This is a very good item. It really worked well in my new apartment since I just moved out of college. It was cheap and works really well for all the things I cook. This item has made cooking a whole lot better.
