Wonderful setPlus they look cool!
I hate to cook but these pans are great1. You cannot use any spray-on cooking spray, it makes the pots/pans sticky.
2. Use low heat, these pans disburse heat very well.
3. You can use metal spatulas/utensils.
4. If something stuck on the pans, follow the directions.
But these pots and pans are great, I really recommend them.

Good Value and QualityDimensions aside, for the price and quality, go with Calphalon TriPly Stainless unless you absolutely have to have the most expensive.
Nice little pan
beautiful little panYes, as with all stainless steel it will develop heat marks, but stainless steel polish takes care of that in a second.
It makes me want the 12 inch one!!!

An Excellent Large Saute Pan, with some reservationsThis pan heats up very quickly! Probably its best feature. It's very quick and sautes beautifully. Cleaning is a bit more involved than with no-stick.
On the downside: 1) The short handle is too hot to touch under most circumstances; this is annoying. The long handle, however, stays cool enough if you don't grip it too closely to the pan. 2) The lid, which is heavy, needs a larger grip. You can't lift this with a finger or two -- too heavy -- so you need more fingers than can comfortably fit under the handle lid.
Overall, if you have a ceramic (or perhaps gas) top that can benefit from a larger pan's heating surface, and don't mind occasionally reaching for handle covers/gloves, this is recommended. I hope Caphalon will replace the short handle with phenolic grips and install a larger top grip some day.

Loved and adored the omlet pan, BUT, the surface peeled off.
The BestSo why only 4 stars? The handle could be a little larger, but my only real complaint is about the Tri-Ply line, in general. Although the Calphalon Tri-Ply is a much better value than All Clad, the line is so small (basically only omelette pans, sauce pans, and a stock pot), that this pan is the unmatched odd-ball since I had to go to other brands or lines for a wok, griddle, casserole, steamer, etc., etc. It's too bad, too. The All Clad stainless line is so much more comprehensive, but compare the price on this pan alone and the Tri-Ply is 1/4!
The best of the no-stickworth every penny, even though they are imported (China).
Fit, finish, and balance excellent. Worth twice the price.
