What can you say about a set of cookie sheets? These sheets are made by Calphalon, and if you have dealt with this brand before you know what to expect: superior quality, reliability and good looks. If you want to bake in style, get these sheets. As for specifics, I can tell you that the smaller of the two cookie sheets may be too small for some applications. Still, you will find it useful for cookies, or small baking needs. The non-stick coating is VERY GOOD, and I have never had to grease my sheets when baking cookies. In fact, cookies slide right off when I remove the sheets from the oven. The cooling rack is rather large and, as such, it is very practical to cool several batches at once.

I threw these right into the dishwasher and as soon as they were sterile I went to baking cookies! Not only do I love baking with these but I am sure "a local tire company" is glad I got them as well since they get all my cookies!

I recieved this set as a gift--I was thrilled! From the first use the quality was evident as my baked goods were beautifully browned without burnt edges! The non-stick surface is fabulous--cookies come off with little effor and no greasing on my part. The cooking rack is top notch! Made to withstand just about any abuse, it cleaned up quickly and is a great addition to my kitchen!

Try Calphalon--you'll be amazed by the difference it will make in your baking!

I needed a pasta pot,this one fits the bill perfectly. If I could have cleaned the pot in the dishwasher, I would have given it 5 stars!

The editorial review of this product claims the Simply Calphalon line is dishwasher safe.

However, be aware, according to the Calphalon website, _The Simply Calphalon_ STAINLESS line is dishwasher safe, this pot is Hard-Anodized. A different line.

I strongly advise against cleaning this pot in the dishwasher,you will void the 10 year Warranty.

Sorry, I bought this set and for a guy my size they are HEAVY. The non-stick coating is starting to give out and I'm back to using baking parchment or teflon sheets on top of the cookie sheets.

I think they have a short life span of heavy duty usage. I wouldn't buy them again.

This set is an excellent value. The description says, "heavy gauge carbon steel construction" but I was surprised to see just how heavy & sturdy & well constructed they are for only [money]. I'm seriously considering buying another Calphalon set and getting rid of all those thin, light weight, warped cookie sheets & baking pans in my cupboards. At this price I can afford to replace them all!

I bake something almost every day, and have long been a subscriber to the basic belief that inexpensive pans from the grocery store do a perfectly acceptable job--as long as I don't mind replacing them every year or so.

While I've only had this set about two weeks so far, I think those days of replacing pans constantly are gone. Cupcakes pop easily out of a very nonstick tin, and have a thin, crisp crust around the edge that was terrific on both yellow cupcakes and bran muffins. With two batches, not a single item stuck--it's the best of any muffin pan I've used in 20 years of baking. The large baking sheet is officially a jelly roll pan, but works fine as a cookie sheet if you don't have the newer edge-free airbake type, and it's great for loose items like oven fries or hors d'oevres. My shortbread turned out perfectly on the large sheet, as did the gingerbread I baked in the 9" square.

The pans are quite heavy, which might make them difficult for people with severe carpal tunnel or arthritis to use on a regular basis. The thick dark metal means that everything bakes a little quicker than you might be used to, so keep your eye on the first batch or two and learn what to expect. They're all easy to clean--since nothing sticks, I can basically just wipe everything off with a soft towel. Each piece has a 10-year warranty, which is unheard of with cookware at such a low price. The components of the set include everything a beginner baker could want, except a pie plate--it's a great gift for someone who's just learning to cook or needs to stock a new kitchen.

i purchased a different model of the calphalon roaster as a gift for a relative. the item arrived - not in the typical amazon shipping box - but in the calphalon roaster box with mailing labels and stickers attached everywhere. additionally, the box was damaged quite a bit...not a very presentable gift.
as i had this purchase shipped to the office, everyone was well informed of my purchase of a turkey roaster. if the box or privacy matters to you, don't purchase this from amazon.

Most of my pieces are the commercial hard anodized which I love. I bought this nonstick since I don't roast that often and thought nonstick would be a little easier. I used it for the first time yesterday for our Thanksgiving turkey and it cooked both bird and gravy very well. During clean up however, I saw that the wire rack contact points had worn through the nonstick coating on both the pan and the rack itself. I use all nylon utensils and cleaning pads. Very disappointing...

We registered this item for our wedding last year. When one our friends got this for us, we were estatic! I've always had those flimsy roasters that rust and warp after a few uses...not anymore! This Simply Calphalon roaster is just the upgrade that we were looking for.

We made our first big meal for Christmas when we cooked a 10-pound filet mignon roast. It came out perfect and clean up was a breeze. We have since used it several other times for roasting chicken. First of all, it is hard-anodized, which means that this heavy duty metal will distribute heat evenly when it cooks your roasts, turkeys, chickens, etc. Second, it is nonstick. Even after roasting for hours, the pan is easy to clean.

I'm not sure what the previous poster from "Ramsey, NJ USA" did to her pan. The nonstick coating on the rack is pretty thick and after several uses, it has not rubbed off. Also, the pan itself does not scratch easily as I've used tongs and other utensils to get the meats out without scratching it. My roaster still looks like new.
