I received this, and many other pots and pans when we moved into our new apartment. I use THIS one more than any other. It is GREAT!!! I use it to grill vegetables, make omlets, scramble eggs, make potato pancakes, regular pancakes, stir-fry veggies & rice, and NOTHING sticks!! Even the most sticky foods, potatoes, eggs, pancake batter, and rice, don't stick! I hate washing dishes, having to scrub a pan after cooking a nice meal, but all it takes to wash this pan is hot water and a sponge and a few quick wipes. Just be sure not to put it in the dishwasher because the detergent can impair the nonstick surface over time. HIGLY recomend! :-)

I have owned my fair share of indoor grills, from a Foreman grill to a really heavy grill pan which I ordered through Amazon. Not too long ago I recently acquired the Calphalon grill pan because my Foreman grill is too small if I want to cook a piece of meat and some vegetables at the same time. Plus the black coating on my Foreman grill is wearing out. So I bought the Calphalon grill pan when it was on sale at a local department store. I haven't been able to get enough of it. It is so easy to clean even when I had cooked a piece of meat that was marinated in Italian dressing or in my own concoction of ground fennel seed, garlic, shallots, and extra virgin olive oil. The marinade will of course stick to the grill which is expected however cleaning it off the grill pan was so much easier than my last grill pan which was heavy and difficult to clean because it wasn't non-stick. I also like using the Calphalon grill pan because I can cook both the meat and vegetable (say asparagus) at the same time. The results are fabulous. I get those wonderful grill marks and grill taste. Although it is a bit big for this apartment dweller, I still consider this grill pan the best of all the indoor grills I have owned. Well worth the money too.

I use this "pot" for soups, its very durable and heavy the helper handle gets hot if your in a hurry.Its great, makes plenty of food for guests and its sooo easy to clean. For this price, you can finally replace those rusty pan yours

I first started using Calphalon cookware in 1998 and have been impressed with the quality and durability ever since. I have a 10 pc set of the non stick and it has held up very well. I do prefer the all-stainless pieces though. I bought this piece originally from Target (since discontinued from there) in 2001.

It is THE essential piece of cookware to own! The heft is impressive and the handles are fastened securely. Even though it is not recommended to place in dishwasher, I've had NO problems doing so. I like having the glass lids so I can check the cooking process without having to remove the lid multiple times.

The warranty is top notch and I have first hand experience in using it. My girlfriend dropped my 8 qt. stock pot when I moved and dented the rim. I sent the piece in for repair and they just replaced it, FREE of charge (less shipping)! Even though it was clearly not a fault of the piece. They have a customer for life with me!

Just keep in mind that you'll need to reduce your temperatures when cooking, as it heats VERY evenly & quickly. This will prevent burning. Any time I've had food stuck to any of my pots/pans, I simply add some water to the pot/pan and place back on the stove burner for a few minutes and all food comes right off with no problem.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

This "Simply Calphalon" line may be the mid-priced version but it's good enough for me. And, you don't even need to buy that expensive "Bar Keepers Friend" to get the bluish tint off the inside and keep it shiny -- simply rub a cut/used lime/ lemon around in it before (hand)washing with dish soap. The acidity works as well as the chemicals in Bar Keepers Friend.

This is a great addition if you have a smoothtop stove which requires a perfectly flat bottom on the pan for really even heat distribution. I highly recommend this item

I am new to Calphalon's Simply Calphalon Stainless Steel, having received the 8-piece set for Christmas. I needed a "chicken fryer" as well, so I picked this one up. This is my first stainless set and I am very impressed! The aluminum base is thick, and even the sides are thick (for being just stainless steel). The pan heats up quickly, and I can use a lower heat because of the thick aluminum base. The handle stays cools throughout. It cleans up easily too, and I use Bar Keepers Friend to keep it shiny. Highly recommended!

I've bought this saucepan for my wife a year ago. She likes it very much and she uses it daily. The saucepan is still good as new. This is lower end line of Calphalon which has only 10 year warranty but it is still a good alternative. I think it is made in China because it doesn't say where it was made. I give a four star because it is not as good as the other Calphalon's lines. I recommend to buy it if you don't want to spend much more money for other more Calphalon lines of products.

I bought this pan to replace my old Calphalon 10" Omelette Pan. My old one came from Target and it was very nice but it was old.

I was concerned that the handle on this one would get hot but it stays quite cool. The non-stick coating really does it's job. My eggs-over-easy has never looked so good or been so easy. As with all non-stick coated pan, you need to use a plastic spatula instead of a metal one. That was a lesson that ruined my very first omelette pan (a Calphalon one at that).

I bought a big set of this calphalon pans and are really disapointed since all food sticks on them, with or without oil, with hi or low temperature... really bad for cooking and specially if you want to cook light.
