This is one great knife! I have other Henckles knives and am very happy with them. I have bought other knives which were less pricey, but once you try this brand, you will chose it again.

This knife is one of the best knives I 've ever used. I have been a cook in the restaurant industry for 3 years now, and this is the knife I go for everytime I cook at home. It is well balanced, so it is very easy to handle. It fits well in your hand, and doesn't slip around. It is especially great for chopping and slicing. I just wish I had gotten mine at such a great price! This truly is a must have for any aspiring chef.

I have used the same three Henckels knives for the past 10 years--a paring knife, a utility knife, and a carving knife in the Pro series--and I have been very happy with all of them. After seeing the Twin Select knives, I decided to get the 8-inch chef's knife to add to my collection. This knife is perfect for chopping and slicing. It has a nice wide blade that is nice for larger vegetables like carrots. The knife is heavier that any of my other knives but not so heavy to make using it a chore. The blade has stayed extremely sharp and the handle is contoured nicely and feels good in my hand when using the knife. My only complaint is that the handle is a bit slippery if you get it wet. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who does a lot of cooking, it makes an excellent addition to any knife collection.

I have used this knife for everything and the handle fits perfectly in your hand (all sizes.) The blade is exceptionally sturdy and it wears very well- I even dropped it a couple of times (oops!) Highly recommended to all the foodies out there.

I have 1 original Twin Star knife(3 years) and several Twin Star Plus knives (2 years). I use them everyday. The instructions say they should not be sharpened. I keep them all at a sharpness where they will easily slice tomatoes. This requires an occasional pass over a STEEL. I don't know if this is considered sharpening but I have seen no damage to the blades yet. I also have a few 5 Star Henckles knives. These are basicly the same style but have regular blades. They are nice but sharpening them is no fun. I do not know if in the long term these knives will last but so far they cannot be beat.

We've used these knives for two years and they truly are "never sharpen" knives. Excellent feel, and very easy to clean. Highly recommneded

I bought this set about 6 months ago and it was sharp and well balanced. Recently I notice that the blade was chipping off and started to get dull, I don't know if this is a flaw or time to get it resharpened. I took very good care of it and never put it in the dishwasher. Overall its a good knife that probably needs sharping done on it every 6 months.

These knives feel so natural in your hand that you might as well be Wolverine from the X-men (OK, they feel supernatural). Each of the knives is very sharp, holds an edge brilliantly, and is a pleasure to hold in your hand. The brushed stainless finish of the handles is really handsome and would fit in any kitchen. The knives are a real pleasure to use.

I orginally purchased the Twin Star Plus but it was a real disappointment. Would not stay sharp and kept returning them-finally had enough and went for the Twin Select. Best choice-the best knifes we have ever owned! Worth every penney we spent! They do an incredible job and feel perfect in your hand. The Henckel Company truly stands behind their product and only want their cutomers to be happy. It's such a pleasure to have good knifes that do a beautiful job - you will never be disappointed with this choice. From a very satisfied customer !!
