You get what you pay for
My husband and I purchased this around the holidays. It was a great way to have a martini party, relatively inexpensive. However, the shaker leaks and the glasses are very fragile. While washing the dishes, I broke two of the glasses, from the stem. If you are prone to breaking things, either buy a heavy duty set or plastic martini glasses. This may not be the set for you.

Very Nice
I got a similar set (3-pc with shaker and 2 glasses). I agree with the other reviews about the shaker, it leaks a little bit. I suggest getting another shaker, but keeping this one around as a back-up OR wrapping a small towel around the leaky seam. I like the texture of the shaker and glasses. It's classy and not so overdone that it's tacky.

good martini set
glasses are awesome. They look great and they are larger than your average martini glasses. All my friends loved the glasses when I had a martini party.
The shaker looks great, but alas, it leaks all over your hands when shaken, despite having a seal. So be careful!!
But for this price, it's still a great buy.

Good for the Sale Price
This is an ok product for what you pay. I wouldn't see paying over [$] for it though. The utensils are nice and big and the spatula and tongs are most useful. The wire brush is cheaply made though - the first time we used it, lots of bristles fell out. The carrying case is a nice idea, but the uensils don't all fit in their slots without a lot of coaxing. If you find the item ... for [$] dollars, go for it if only for the spatula and tongs, otherwise invest a few more dollars and get a nicer set.

Rugged and oversized--a great deal!
These are the best grill tools I have had the opportunity to use. The oversized stainless turner flips even large items with ease. The serrated cutting edge makes trimming fat from steaks while on the grill a piece of cake.

The long handles keep your hands safely away from the heat, and the rugged rings allow the tools to hang at grill-side when not in use.

Everything is heavy-duty stainless--no worries about bending these things out of shape. In addition, cleanup is a breeze because of the one-piece construction (no seams or welds for food particles to get trapped along. The skewers are heavyweight and long as well, making them my only choice for shishkabobs.

The carry case is nice for storage in the off-season (if there is one where you live--I grill year-long in Minnesota), or for travel to parks, picnics, etc. My only disappointment is that the closure on the carry case is cheap vinyl--leather would have been the coup d'etat!

Overall, an excellent set and highly recommended. I picked this up at deep discount, but it would have been worth every penny at full price!

A great little set.
I love this BBQ grill set. For what I paid here at Amazon it was an absolute steal. I would have liked a basting brush as well, but that's really a Sabatier issue and not a Amazon one. I got what I ordered and it's wonderful. Good, manly sized tools that won't let any husband down. A perfect gift for a master of the manly art of BBQ or someone in training.

SoHo is So-So
An attractive set, but very thin, EASILY breakable glass. I'm down to 5 glasses & no bowl. Also, the glasses are irregular-they're all different sizes. bleh.

Hazard
The set is nice to look at and probably fun to use, but I probably won't ever use it. Who want's thin glass at a party where people may (will probably) get drunk? The glass of the container is really thin. At first I thought, oh well, I can just use the container as a vase (it is a nice shape for one) but the glass is so thin at the top I don't really want to mess with it sober either.

If you are clumsy (like most drunk people) don't buy thi. It is a blood letting waiting to happen. However, the Vodka glasses do seem sturdy enough though, and if the price stays at [$$$] the set is worth it for that.

Got to have this!
This set is wonderful. I went to buy it for my brother but decided I just had to have it too. Its a great value and a perfect holiday gift.

Cheap and do not cut!
These knives do not cut. I am a 23 year old male and I'm telling you that I would rather use a butter knife to cut steak, fruit etc. Buy a more expensive pair because I ended up just throwing them away.

Great product for the $$$
I received my knives a few days ago, and for the price I paid, I am very pleased with them. I had no problem with the knives fitting in the block and they are very sharp. The blades on my previous set were just as thin and that set lasted me about 7 years [even with putting them in the dishwasher].
If you are looking for a professional set of knives than these are not for you. If you are looking for an inexpensive, everyday set that will last a few years, I would recommend these.

NICE FOR THE CABIN
ORDERED THIS SET FOR THE LAKEHOME...GREAT PRICE, EXCELLENT BUY. THIS SET PROBABLY ISN'T FOR THE GOURMET CROWD, BUT IT IS A FINE SELECTION AS A STARTER SET OR FOR OCCASIONAL USE. I FELT THAT THE BLADES WERE MUCH MORE STURDY THAN OTHERS HAVE DESCRIBED.

Decent block for thin knives
Don't expect to keep your high end chefs knives in this block but if you just need something to get your cheap knives out of the drawer and onto the counter, it's a decent deal at [price]. I'll be trying to sell mine at a yard sale for $1.

A Generic Knife Block
I bought this knife block in the hope I could store my Lion Sabatiers in one place. The openings are made without any tapering of the slots, that half my knives don't fit. This block must have been a generic block for manufacturers to stamp their logos on. It simply isn't meant to hold forged knives.

If you are looking for a knife block for your forged Sabatiers and cannot find one, I recommend the Henckels Oak Block. I was lucky to have stumbled on one, and find it will fit a Lion Sabatier 8" -or- 10" chef's knife with no problem. The heft and strength of the Henckels oak block is vastly superior.

However, this generic block will hold most stamped knives.

A good bargain
I read a lot of negative reviews for this item, but most of them complained about slots being too narrow for their knives. Fortunately, I don't own any fancy French knives, so all of mine fit perfectly! I have no complaints, and since I bought this item on sale for [PRICE], it was a great deal!
