backup grill
Quite Simply the Best Grill I've Ever Owned ...It's blissfully simple and elegant, and has a large cooking surface. And it's easier to clean than the portable George Foreman models because the entire grill surface is not only non-stick but also IMMERSIBLE. I've got my grill sitting in my screened porch. I just load up the grill, close the lid and go back into the house to do something else while it works. It's oh-so-convenient and all the heat stays OUT of my kitchen.
Thanks to the large domed lid, I've even used it as an oven (again, without heating up my kitchen) for roast chicken and turkey. I love, love, LOVE this grill, and you will too.
George is right. It actually does what he claims it will do!I am quite happy with the surface area, as I can easily fit 8 large burgers on at once. I live in the frozen north, so the fact that this grill will also work indoors is plus.
It's portable, reliable, easy to use and clean, and a bargain compared to other outdoor grills.
George put his name on a very good product.

- 200-square-inch electric indoor/outdoor grill cooks 12 burgers, chops at once
- Top and bottom nonstick grills cook food in minutes without turning
- Patented design permits fat to run off into drip tray
- Variable temperature control, 30-minute timer
- Overall measures 20-1/4 inches wide, 8 inches high, 21-1/2 inches deep

Even better outdoors than indoors
Best thing since canned beer! One thing I like to do with this grill is to grill veggies, spritzed with olive oil. Unlike every other grill I have tried, cleanup is a snap, especially with the aformentioned veggies.
I have not used my propane grill since I bought this unit.
The one and only possible negative is that the numbers on the timer dial wore off after only a few uses. But it is no biggie.
Cant Beat It

doesnt workThe mosquitoes don't seem to be affected by this!
Away skeeters!!This works ok. I like it.
Let there be light (and no more burnt meals)My grill has no place to clip this on, but that is no problem. With the weight of the 4 D batteries, it sits securely on the side of my grill. In order to use the clip on though, you will need a totally flat ledge on the side of the grill.

- Electric oil pump
- Replacement filters
- Simplifies clean-up by transferring oil to a disposal container
- Works on 110-volt current
- Pump measures 22-1/4 inches; hose measures 27 inches
List price: $48.51 (that's 18% off!)

Pump dies during first useI'll see how the replacement unit works out the next time I do a turkey. Now I'm wondering how the battery versions I bought for gifts worked out in comparison.
The easy way to poor out the oil (after cool)*** Don't try to move hot oil *** Do turn off flames ***
Hot oil will quickly melt the plastic pump and the plastic will stick to the sides of the fryer and ruin your oil and machine.
Works with reservationI would agree with some of the other reviews that it seems to loose power after the first use. The thicker the oil, the harder a time it has. If you heat the oil before filtering, it works much better. Note that you don't want to get the oil too hot - perhaps nothing hotter than 100 degrees. I cracked the clear tube in my old two-battery one by running boiling water through it (requiring the purchase of this model).
If you can find the older version, I highly recommend it, but the three battery version is definately a step backwards.
