I would have to spend a lot of money to get regular pedicures for my feet. This item has to be the best money I have ever spent for taking care of my hands and feet. It works efficiently and effectively AND has all of the bits you will need for the easiest and toughest of jobs. I can use this on my kids as well as myself.

This was the very first Crabtree and Evelyn product I have ever tried and I fell in love with it. I love the Jojoba lotion and hand cleaner. The hand cream makes you feel heavenly- I love the scent not too strong and overpower and it lets your hands silky soft for hours - I mean silky soft. I have received tons of compliments when I wear the cream- which is always :P But the nail clipper is on the cheap side. It's made in china which was a disappointment because the set is not inexpensive. I replaced the nail clipper with a better nail clipper. The little pouch that comes with the nail clipper was nice because you can easily throw it in your purse. Overall I was satisfied with the set- the only thing that really bothered me was the nail clipper. As far this has been the top gift set I have purchased for friends and family members. Its nice and memorable.

I bought this nail care kit after trying and returning other brands. This one is just O.K. and unfortunately it's the best one I've tried. (email me about the other 5 I tried if you have questions)

1.GOOD FEATURES: It looks cool. The handle has two speeds. I love the light touch nail dryer (refer to picture).The two tiny tiny cones are fabulous for shaping up around your nail bed. The filing disks are easy to use, once you've had practice.The large filing/grinding cone is awesome for grinding away rough skin. Great price!

2.BAD FEATURES: It's noisy. The buffing head does not work. I got sick of the hassle of changing heads all the time. The case is hard to open.

So you probably want to know why I still think this one is a keeper. Well, I file my natural nails now manually because the kit is so slow, taking up to an hour, BUT...this is the only kit I tried that truly works on acrylic nails! Ever try those drug store nail kits and you have to file down the acrylic for hours? This machine does all that in seconds! No damage occurs from this kind of use. So save money from expensive manicures and do it yourself! The HoMedics nail spa will pay for itself in one use. Just please get an extention cord! You don't need to be sitting next to the wall like I did when I first used it.

I would never have bought this for myself; my mother-in-law got it for me for Christmas. I was skeptical and didn't even take it out of the packaging for a while. I don't have artificial nails and consider myself to be pretty low maintainence in the beauty department. Anyway, I decided that I should give it a whirl and I have to admit that it works very well. If you're just using it on your natural nails, it does shape, file, and buff effectively and only takes a few minutes. It is very easy to use and has 2 speeds so that you can file quickly or more slowly. I've always had okay nails - no major problems, but certainly nothing spectacular. After using this manicure kit, my nails are all equal in length/shaped the same and tend to break and chip much less. I haven't had a nail break for months and I haven't used any polish during that whole time. It also does a great job of pushing back your cuticle. If you're looking for an easy way to get better looking nails, give this kit a try! PS. It does need a longer cord - get a short extension to go with it!

I love this Homedics manicure set, model MAN-300! I have natural nails and do use nail polish occasionally. Since I got this manicure set, I have used it frequently - much to my surprise. An extension cord is necessary because I'm usually sitting at a table or on the sofa when using the manicure set. Before, I'm a little embarrassed to say, I never kept up with my own manicures often enough and now with this machine, my hands and feet are now in the best condition ever because this machine is so easy to use and is effective. And the big filer attachment is great - I'm removing callouses on my feet and it's amazing to feel them so soft. About that other reviewer that said it was hard for that person to insert the attachments - I tried forcing them for the first minute, too, and then realized it only needs to be gently turned in place and it'll go in securely with a solid click. By the way, I now am using fingernail polish more often as my hands look so good these days (I'm filing off some ever-so-slightly unsmooth skin there, too). And I'm proud of the condition of my feet.

The set as a whole, is great for the money. First, I have 2 other Homedics manicure sets. I bought this set primarily for the manicure set because I could not find my other Homedics manicure set that I loved. This set works great. It has a lot of power for a rechargeable manicure set. The foot bath, Is nice, but don't get it thinking its going to be like a hot tub. I thought it would be as strong as a hot tub, but no. But it's still nice because it has 2 settings. A setting for massage, or a setting without massage. The facial sauna is a little big for some faces. I tried positioning myself different ways to really feel steam but my face does not cover the whole opening so lots of steam escapes through the sides, and doesn't reach my face at all.

If you pay more than $10 for this you paid too much. It has almost no power at all. The only good uses for this is to keep it in your desk at work or use as a quick fix kit until you can a manicure from a professional or home to your better manicure set. I let my 4 year old use it as a toy, so she can act just like mommy while I use a better kit.

When I bought this, I bought 2 of them, one for myself and one for my 20 year old daughter. I was a little worried since it was battery run but figured since it was a 'homedics' brand, that I'd take the chance. It's actually a nice little set in it's own little carry case, but it really doesn't work very well at all. The only attachment that seems to do anything is the one for pushing back the cuticles. The others are all smooth and seem to be designed more for buffing then for filing, and then it doesn't do a very good job of that. After having used it maybe 4 times for 4-5 minutes at a time, the battery is pretty dead. I'm really disappointed in it but it's not worth the trouble of sending it back since I got it on sale. My daughter on the other hand seems to love hers, but then again maybe she's just saying that because I got it for her. If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have bought it.

I got this free with the foot spa as a gift for a teenager. Doesn't look too swift to me but as it was free with the foot spa, who can complain ? I wouldn't recommend buying it..

I was very eager to use this product. I had all sorts of various files and clippers to keep up with and I thought this would be a great replacement. I was a little disappointed when I had to let the hand set charge for over 18 hours before I could get full power. My disappointment increased when the cheap plastic attachments started breaking after just a few uses. We can not use the nail filing disks because they will cause a friction pain if you use them at the wrong angle. I had big hopes for this product but all I got was a big disappoinment!
