Conair FB14S Ultra Quiet Foot Spa - Just What I wanted
I received my Foot Spa today and am very happy. It is reasonably quiet, it does not splash, my feet are comfortable, great foot room, and the remote control is heaven. You can sit with your feet resting and take a few minutes to just relax. I have Plantars Ficitis and this is just what the doctor ordered.
Fast shipping to. Being able to control the Water Jets, Heat, Bubbles, etc is really great.

Conair Whirlpool Action Foot Spa - Model FB20R
My feet suffer from Arthritis, Neuromas and a couple of Claw Toes. (that's why I'm remaining anonymous) Never the less, believe me when I tell you, this foot spa will help you like no ordinary vibrating foot bath ever did. The jets are powerful (oh God, between the toes is sheer heaven) the bubbles are heavy weight and the vibration strong. I filled it with warm water and it STAYED warm! I recommend a capfull of "Masada" Eucalyptus Bath Salts in the warm water and baby, you're gonna believe in miricles! You know, all we customers ask is that the product live up to its claims and charge us a reasonable price, well this is it. I will definatly try other Conair products because of this experience, and by the way, I understand that there are two other foot spa models in the Conair line that offer even more treats, like assorted attachments and remote control! GO ENJOY!

Could there be a better foot spa?
I dont think there could be a better foot spa than this one. Conair has really made a gem of a footspa. Following is my delight with this footspa.

1. Heat. It does not heat water. However, unless you're soaking your feet in the Arctic or soaking for over 30 minutes, theres no need for the spa to heat the water. I never understood the need for heating the water from cold or maintaining 105 degree temperatores, but if heating of water is a concern for you, I wouldnt get this foot spa.

2. Bubbles. This spa does remarkably well. Many foot spas I've owned (homedics, dr scholls) are very very weak in the bubble department. This spa has good strong bubbles all along your feet. Of course considering your feet are places right on top of where bubbles will come out, dont expect gale force winds to be bubbling on your feet. The bubbles are relaxing, substantial and I have yet to have this clog.

3. Vibration. VERY GOOD! I've owned many footspas and this one is the first that doesnt sound like a train is going through my bedroom. Even on high speed with bubbles and jets this spa is quite quiet. The vibration is powerful and very soothing.

4. Water Jets. This is the centerpiece for this footspa. No other spa has jets of water like a jaccuzzi on your toes. The jets are very relaxing and are a good compliment to bubbles and massage.

5. Bottom of footspa. No spikes!! Thank goodness! Homedics has determined that we want spikes under tired swolen feet. Fortunately Conair thinks differently and my feet arent spiked by an uncomfortable bottom.

6. Splash Factor. Even when overly filled, this spa causes very little splash despite having bubbles, vibration and water jets. Of course with bubbles you will have splash factor, but put a towel under your footspa and your carpet wont get wet.

7. Loofah pads. Just ok, not really good for smoothing rough feet, but pretty relaxing to rub your feet over the pads. Pads are removable for cleaning or if you just dont want to look at them

All in all, a fantastic foot spa and well worth every dime

Lots of Power
When this came UPS yesterday, I could not wait to try it out. Wow what powerful bubbles! I thought it would be very hard to sit on cause of the stiff plastic but the rubber mat makes it very confee. The noise of the moter is not bad cause the bubble action covers it. I believe this model will hold up for a long time cause it is not like the ones that inflate when the air goes through it.The only thing is it said it came with batterys and mine did not for the remote and I did not get the bath pillow like the other women did. It is well worth the money.

Can this be real?
Being a skeptic after trying one of Conair's "spa jet" products and having it being a total hunk of junk, I purchased this with caution. However, when putting it in the tub, HOLY BEJESUS did it perform beyond expectations! If my knees weren't crunched in the tub I would swear I was lying in a jacuzzi. Definitely a good buy. Others say it sounds like a vacuum but what do you care? All you hear is the bubbles. If you're going to buy a spa imitator, this is MOST DEFINITELY the one to choose.

Who knew a massage could come in a box?
I recieved this product as a birthday gift from my boyfriend. I was so excited because I have been wanting one for so long. It's extreamly powerful! The low speed is good enough for me...on high speed the bubbles were going out of the tub and making a mess. To my suprise the water stayed warm for a farely long time. It is a little noisy but the bubbles cap most of the noise. From downstairs my boyfriend said it sounded like the vaccum was running but in the tub it wasn't bad. I too didn't recieve a bath pillow or batteries. I was dissipointed because it says battery included and when I went to use it I thought it was broken. Nothing complaining to the company wont solve. I love my bath spa and I bet you will too!!!

Good but could be better
The primary issue with his unit is that the word "thermal" is misleadning. This unit will not heat the bubbles, contrary to what you may think.

Thermal= NOT Thermal
This is a really great product. The way it creates the bath is *so* much better than the jet spas Conair makes. The *ONLY* thing that I was angry about is that the type on the box reads, "Will not heat water to a higher temperature, will maintain water tempurature". While reading the pamphlet to find out how to choose a heat setting, I found the information, "Does not maintain water temperature". Nevertheless- this is the best home spa equipment I've come across. The price is great, the unit stores easily and the mat is more comfy than I expected.

Top notch (for the price)
As my wife has MS, we installed a whirlpool tub in our old house to aid her in pain relief. When we sold/moved to our new place, we decided to purchase this product in the interim of replacing the current tub. We were a little skeptical, but figured for the immediate price - we'd try it. SHE LOVES IT! Even the noise level is not as high (73dbC on HIGH setting; 69dbC on LOW) as we used to experience. Thank you, CONAIR!

hated it
At first i was excited about it there was alot of bubbles and it looked good, but then the mat wouldnt stick. When it finally did stick as soon as the water was running it would float up, they say its the kind of tub you have but i have the kind that they said it would stick on and it wouldnt. so anyway i get in the tub sit on it to make it stop floating and its nice, but then when i put it on high a gust of cold air comes thru the bubbles, the thing blows cold air and it turned my water cold. it was a horrible experience i spent more time keeping the mat down and tryin to keep warm.

Not exactly what I expected...
I registered for this item and received it as a wedding gift. I was very excited to use it. It was easy to set up and is user friendly (just make sure ALL the suction cups are firmly in place before you use). However, the noise was unbelievable!! My husband thought the house was going to shake down and it was so NOT relaxing. Even on the low setting, the force of the bubbles and the noise was unsettling. Also, one thing to note is that the mat does NOT heat the water, so the bath water cools down quickly when using the spa (this is stated in the instruction manual as well). Overall, I'm dissapointed because it is not as I expected. But when you're in the mood for a quasy jacuzzi this product gets you half the way there.

Victoria
I bought this bath mat for my mother who is going through some medical problems and she said it is a gift from god. She has alot of cramping and stress caused by her medical condition and she says that just for a little while, she feels normal again. She lives in the bath tub now! I highly recommend this product for anyone who has medical problems, or stress.

A little loud for a 'relaxation spa' simulation
I bought this hoping it might take the place (marginally) of jets in our garden tub. It certainly is powerful and generates lots of activity in the water, but the air is a bit chilly and the pump itself is loud. I blame myself for not thinking enough about the noise level prior to the purchase (in hind site, it seems obvious). In any case, the kids get a kick out of it, so its getting used plenty!

POWERFUL...But Not Thermal!!!
If you can't afford a real spa, like me, then this is a fine alternate. If you get the tub surface wet before sticking the mat down, the suction cups will firmly hold the mat in place. I was surprized how powerful the bubbles were. They almost felt like the jets in a big hot tub. The only thing is that this spa is not thermal. Even on the box it said THERMAL in bold, red letters. It's not that big of a problem, though. It's ok if you use soaps and shampoos. You only have to use a little bit of bath gel because the rapid movement of the water makes many soapy bubbles. My daughter dumped the normal amount she uses into the tub and a few minutes later it was overflowing with suds! I didn't believe she only added a little bit. She thought it was funny until I made her clean it up! It's a wonderful spa overall.

Cheap alternative to $1000+ hot tub
Boy are the previous reviewers on the soft mat and the earlier Conair spa mat a bunch of whiners! Clearly none of them has ever been in a Jacuzzi equipped tub. Guess what folks, in order to make this many bubbles, the unit's going to make noise. The Conair unit sounds like a small vacuum cleaner plus the added noise of the bubble jets. If this annoys you, don't buy the unit! Also, the bubbles will be blowing in room temperature air. An easy way to compensate is to make the bath water extra hot. I used to own a hot tub, and it pulled in room temperature air as well, so the Conair design is not inconsistent with the way that units costing 50 times as much operate! Give it a whirl, if you're not satisfied, save your receipt and Target will refund your money.

Not what I expected
I am 6 months pregnant and was in real need of a good warm foot massager. It had all the features but they don't live up to what I thought they would be. The removeable foot rollers are too big and painful as someone else mentioned, I just take them out. The bubbles do splash water all over the floor. There is a feature that says it will maintain the temp. of the water, but it doesn't, it gets cold quick. The manicure massager is ok, but it is in an awkward place. The vibration and the bubbles are nice but that's about it. Also, there should be a selection for bubbles only (without vibration). And there is NO fill line as the directions say!

Loved spa-hated remote control
I loved the spa when I could get it to work. This foot bath can ONLY be operated using the remote control, therefore if the remote goes so goes your foot bath. I could not get the spa to turn on again if I wanted to use it more than once a day. I turned it on for about 10 minutes then had to run an errand. The machine would not turn on again until the next day!!

Not bad
It's nice to have a foot spa, but there were a few surprises. This biggest problem is that the "water jet" function, which does indeed feel good, splashes water everywhere. You need to line your chair and the floor for several feet away to keep things dry! Secondly, though the manual refers to a fill line, there isn't one. You have no idea how much water to put in this thing. I've tried lots of levels (nothing gets rid of the horrible splashing with water jets) and have one that works reasonably well, but there was a lot of trial and error involved. Lots of water on the floor too!
Also, the removable rollers are far too large and painful to do any good. Fortunately they are removable. Maybe on a very large foot they'd be okay, but not on a size 8. Ouch! And the "all-purpose" massager is totally useless. The other attachments work fine, but aren't worth extra cost -- you have to twist your foot around on top, and that's somewhat difficult. (Once I figured it out, it wasn't so bad, but it's difficult to rub the side of my toe).
The heat doesn't maintain the water temperature at all, it quickly drops. Start with the water hot and enjoy your ten minutes, that's all.
The vibration and bubble combination gives a very nice tingle on the soles of my feet -- that, I enjoy very much.

Nothing to it, poor excuse for a massager
I had a good massaging heating pad that was great, and I used it on my legs a lot., thought I could replace it. This one is not even in the ballpark. Absolutely useless, I have been had!

Poor massager, poor value, returning it
The massage portion of this heating pad is no more a massager than the vibrate on a cell phone. There is only 1 heat setting, which is OK, but it's a bit hot for only one setting. It's like the High setting on my 3 setting hot pad.

Just right for me
I love it, and here's why:

-It doesn't burn, the heat is relaxing, but not scortching, so you don't have to turn it on until it heats up and turn it off until it cools down, etc...

-The massager is great! It's not horribly loud or too bouncy. There are even different settings for it.

-The massager has a timer so you don't forget about it and keep it on for hours, possibly hurting yourself.

-The velcro straps make it possible to wrap up a body part and keep the pad in place.

-The pad is nice and soft, kindof squishy feeling even... very comfortable to lean against.

It's pretty great!
