This spa kit was VERY relaixng!!! It took off all the stress on my mind and it makes your skin feel very soft and smelling good. I recommend this and all of the other HoMedics spa kits.

Ok this is my first massager and you know what I like it why didn't I get it sooner?! I actually got it for my husband because of the heat feature (heat pads are $$$$) but I tried it when I had one of my tension headaches in the back and shoulder area and WOW! in about 2 min it was gone! Its good for all those knots in my back. the only draw back is you can only run it for 15 min max or it may over heat.

I bought this massager for my boyfriend... for Valentines Day!!! He was very surprised and thought it was the best gift I had given him till now!!! He loves it & so do I! The heat function takes about 5 mins to get to a level you would like but it is still the best massager available in the market for this price!

The HoMedics PA2H Deluxe Personal Massager is a pretty useful tool around the home, and a great gift for someone who could use a little "ah" in there life.

The PA2H is very similar to the device my chiropractor had as well as the family naturopath. The PA2H has some handy little features like the different density massaging heads including heads for heat massage. Another nice feature is the alternating pulses that it can provide. Some of us more "delicate" creatures might not be able to withstand some of the more intense pulses.

Ok, disadvantages.... It takes a little getting use to 7 buttons. First you turn on the power, then you touch the "massage" button...then you need to touch the "up-arrow" to actually activate the massage.... I've had to hit 3 buttons just to get the PA2H on... For those folks raring to go, 3 buttons to turn it on is 2 buttons too many.

As for the massage itself, it's great! Great, even pressure and not too noisy (that's one thing I always look for in a back massager). Unless you're a contortionist, be sure to have some handy to give you the massage. Afterwards, you'll feel like a million dollars! Just wait for the "ah"...

If you've had a very hard day at the office, and you are tense, uptight, and generally in a bad mood all around, I highly recommend this massager. As I'm one who has suffered with extreme back pain most of my life, I've found this machine a welcome respite after a long day of stationary programming. Though others may think it's a bit rough, it depends entirely on your bone structure, for I've not had any problems with it, however I know some for whom it actually bounces off the spinal column if you get too close. However, that's what the soft massage heads are for... and the lowest speed setting.

Definitely worth the money. It's helped my back pain in more ways than I can express..

This is the best massager of its kind available at the price. I have compared it with models costing 5 times as much and it compares at least as well if not better than them all.

It could be made better if somehow it would perform the massage autonomously, but if you don't have a good friend or an expensive massage chair, you'll be forced to use the long handle to massage those achy muscles all by yourself.

I wanted to get the cheaper non-heated one but it was unavailable at the time of my order. These are popular units.

This massager really disappointed me. It's very hard to handle for more than a few minutes, as it's handle is not shaped well for hands. Worst of all, it is VERY heavy. I have large, strong hands, so I didn't expect that to be a problem.
It is also very loud. Maybe I can sell it!

My chiropracter uses this massager in her practice. It felt so wonderful for my low back pain that I just had to have one for home. I don't know if I'll ever use all the bells and whistles but the programmable massage and heat applications may be just the thing someday.
The only negative is the overall weight of 5 pounds which makes it difficult to self-apply. The massager seems sturdy and well designed otherwise.

Yes, this is the massager to get! The POWERFUL multi-level pulsation is nothing less then orgasmic. Add the heat control option (which actually heats up to a comfortable warm) and you're simply in heaven. I like that I'm in control and can direct it to where I need, when I need it -- anytime! This baby is the next best thing to having a real hands-on massage - it's the best!

I brought this massager thinking that there was no way it was going to help the pain I was having in my neck and shoulder. I could barely move and after I used this I could actually turn my neck from side to side. I used the heating element and it felt great. I didn't think it was too heavy at all; especially once you are using it. Since I am a mother of 2 I don't really have time to go to a massage therapist when I have a crick in my neck, this device makes for a great alternative.

If you don't pull your hair up it can get caught up in the massager.

I just received this a few days ago and already I'm very *very* IMPRESSED!!

I often have lower back pain and have to go to the chiropractor. And when I do, following the adjustment he uses a very heavy feeling massager (I haven't SEEN it) on me to relax everything again, and it feels SO GREAT! Feels just like tiny hammers beating on you at a super high speed. I asked him where I could buy one like that and he turned me on to a company that sells massagers that feel identical to this for [a large sum of money]!!

When I saw this massager listed here on Amazon, I wasn't sure it was like my doctor uses. But after receiving it and using it, I can tell you it feels IDENTICAL to the machine that my chiropractor paid for[a large sum of money]!!Anyone wanting to complain about the weight of this should use their brain to figure out if you need a really good massage, then you need either someone with lots of strength OR a massager with strength! And how does a massager become strong?? One factor is to make it HEAVY! I MEAN "DUH"!!! :)

I would not reccomend to someone who has "short" arms -than you should ask somebodies help.

This is a very harsh massager. It is worth trying, but I bet you'll return it just like I did.

I suffer from chronic back pain from sitting all day with my arms out. I've tried quite a few massagers: hand-held vibrating, hand-held percussion, shiatsu types w/ the two rotating knobs, a chair with rollers, various things that you lay down on, etc. This Homedics model is the easiest and quickest way to get relief. You don't have to put your arm in an awkward position to reach your back, you don't need to lay down on the floor and you don't need the help of a friend. I use it for a few minutes throughout my day and it feels great. Like other percussion massagers, if you use it too long, your skin will become itchy. It is corded (not cordless), but you always have the power you need, when you need it. It is kind of bulky, the arms fold for storage but I like to keep them open for quick access. It comes with 3 types of heads: hard, soft and heat. I haven't tried the heat feature. It has a variable speed control. My only suggestion for Homedics would be to make it more powerful, like their better hand helds. Because sometimes I wear heavier clothing and have noticed the results are not as good - duh! I've been using mine at work but I'm ordering another one for home.

I tried several massagers at Macy and decided this is the best for my neck and back. It's so easy to use, reaching my lower back or neck and hard-to-reach spots in the center of the back. Especially, massager's dual heads dig in deep when you balance your holding with both hands. It's much better than the ones with single hand holding.

HoMedics Therapist Select Percussion Action Massage Cushion delivers a more forceful massage to your back unlike the other thinner, softer models. For the better massage though, you will find that it has a thicker, very firm pad which may be uncomfortable to leave in your chair after the massage.

This little guy is nice for the price. It's not the greatest, but it has a good amount of power. Also, you can adjust how you use it. It doesn't hold a charge for very long though, and needs to be recharged often.

I purchased this item a few weeks ago. I think it works ok. This is the first foot spa that i have purchased so my opinion is based on limited knowledge. I think the power pedicure attachment works very well. The water does not stay hot. So i am not sure what the heater does but, i find the unit to be semi-quiet and the bubbles are really cool. I find the unit to be easy to drain and the vibration works well. So for the price i paid i am pleased with the unit.

Ok item that gets the job done for the price. A more expensive unit definitly give you a better performance.

Nice little item but is very messy and breaks easily.
