I bought two of these new this summer and they are great. The air to noise ratio is great, it is the best fan I have ever owned. I like the continuous variable speed adjustment and the ability to angle the fan up. It really can move some air!

I bought two of the fans so I would be ready for this summer and am not disappointed. The reviews were all positive so I thought why not. They are very quiet and arrived in perfect shape. I had never heard of the Vornado name before but I will look for it in future purchases. Don't hesitate buy it with confidence!

Was recently forced to replace the Vornado window fan my parents bought second-hand in May 1945, a few weeks after they married. It still worked, but the metal frame was rusting. Our family now owns at least a dozen of these bought over the years, and so far the original from my parents is the only one needing replacement.
Works as a great supplement to save air conditioning costs or on low speed, to share heat with cooler rooms. A little noisy on the highest speed, but really moves more air than any fans I've seen...those Vornado folks have really optimized the fan size to air flow.
The classic size is more than adequate for all but the largest rooms, and it's small enough and quiet enough to work inconspicously for years and years and years.

Vornado fans are the best fans on the market in my opinion. The only other brand I like and only for decorative purposes is Hunter. Vornado fans are quiet and last forever. They run so smoothly that you can hardly hear them. They are great for keeping the air moving in a large room. The first one we owned was given to us and that was over ten years ago and that thing still runs just as quietly and efficiently as the day we aquired it. I now have four Vornados. This model is qreat for smaller rooms. We also use it in the winter near the fireplace to help circulate heat. This is a great price! Buy it you will love it!

I own this Vornado Air Circulator, and it is the best fan I have ever had. I have it in my bedroom, and it is great to have it on high and feel the air circulating around as you sleep. It's gotten so that I can't sleep without it on. Its a quiet, reliable fan that will serve you well. Extremely powerful, too. Don't underestimate it's size, its a great buy.

and I am very impressed...it has a good hum to it but the noise is nice while sleeping. On high, this thing flaps the covers on the bed. I love lots of air on me when I sleep and I can't keep it on high..too strong. Great fan for any room. Pleased so far.

I have this in my office at work and it provides complete circulation for a small room about 10' x 10'. I have never had it on full speed, except by mistake, as it would blow every paper off the wall and off any surface. It is quiet and reliable. I would buy another one for any space where I need circulation, without hesitation.

This fan is absolutely the best fan I have ever owned. I used this fan to push the air around my house for proper ventilation of the air conditioning and heating. I used to have to huddle up near the vent to get some heat or air. Or even have to crank the A/C up pretty high to get it feeling comfortable. Now, I can just place the fan in a spot in my house and turn it on and my house feels so good. I am not sure of the amount I save on electricity, but my bills have gone down.

I now have three Vornado fans and two small Vornado room heaters. This is the best endorsement I can give you. Nothing compares to Vornado quality, power, size, and silence.

This is our third Vornado unit. We bought a Vornado heater to take the chill off the kitchen in the winter, and a small Vornado fan to help circulate air in the kitchen area during our very hot summers and the last one is the larger one that we use in our exercise room. They are the best but buying factory reconditioned units makes them all the better.

While Vornado fans are tops always, this particular model is especially good at low speed for quiet use in a bedroom or office, or it can be dialed up to higher speed to serve as a fan, plus a source of white noise. I like especially that the fan can be pointed straight at the ceiling to offer circulation without direct breeze to blow around papers or cause stiff necks. Unassuming, efficient, attractive, and easy to clean.

This is a great product. It's powerful, quiet, nice to have the blade at a sitting height, easy to move and position. Came in as new comdition, I need a couple more!
