Must Have it
I originally bought this curling in MN. I had it for 2.5 years and it quit working. However, it worked great. That is when I was so pleased to find it here on Amazon. I could not find it anywhere in my city. You really must get it.

ONLY curling iron that works
This curling iron is amazing. Im so glad I found it. They have stopped making them, and I don't know why. It is truly a gem, and the only thing that will curl my hair. THe curl last days with no frizz!

I'm a lucky lady!
I was lucky enough to get this amazing item at my local discount store. Let's just say I feel like a completely different woman now. Sounds corny, I know. This iron is fantastic. I've used many different kinds of straightening products on my hair before, some successfully but after time-consuming effort and others with no success at all. I had beautiful, sleek hair in less than 20 minutes. As with any appliance using heat, it should be used in moderation to avoid damage. The only negative thing I can say about it is that it should have a longer tip on the end to avoid burning oneself. But that's about it. I guess I should mention my type of hair. It is very long, curly and I dye it regularly. Hope this helps!

Doesn't replace a regular iron, though!
I would really give it 3 1/2 stars, but had to choose between three and four.

The larger ironing surface is very nice, and it is great for larger items. It has a nice indicator light system for heat and steam, but it takes longer than I anticipated to heat up between presses or steams. It is also quite bulky and heavy.

I iron most of my/our clothing and wanted something to cut down on ironing time. This item works pretty well, but you'll still need a regular iron unless you don't mind a few wrinkles or puckers.

It works very well great for pants, knits, mens shirts, and cloth napkins. Results are not as good for ladies shirts or table cloths. It would also be very handy with sewing projects, although I have not used it for that purpose. It works best on items that are damp rather than completely dry.

    Life gets easier!
Don't throw your iron away, but take down that old ironing board and leave it down for the most part! This is an amazing appliance for someone on the go. It's small and collapsible so it can be easily stored in your closet. You can wheel it out of your closet and have it ready to go in one minute. It handles some fabrics better than others but it is great on knits. Also great on cottons and linens, but true to form washable silk is still a challenge. One thing is for sure -- you won't burn the garment, like you can when using iron that is set too hot. If your looking for a crisp seam you might be a little disappointed, but not in all cases because once you get the knack and with a little effort you can have that sharp crease.
I used a professional garment steamer while working for small clothing retailer. I admit I was skeptical about how well this would perform stacked against a professional steamer, but I was pleasantly surprised. Additionally, I was hoping that this purchase would not be one of those things that sat around the house and never get used or the type of purchase you try once, hate it, and end up returning it. When I purchased the garment steamer I also purchased an iron. The iron stayed in the box for 4 weeks, untouched, while the Conair GS10 Deluxe Fabric Streamer got used almost every day. I am keeping both, this fabric steamer makes things much easier in most cases. I say go ahead and indulge - you won't be sorry.

I WANT ANOTHER ONE!!! LOVE IT!
This is a wonderful product! I wish that I had bought at least 2 more while it was on sale. I have steamed everything in my closet! It is so soothing to use, and it works great! It does gurgle a lot, but for the ease of removing wrinkles,I can put up with it. I find myself not wanting to use fabric softener just so I can use this steamer:) Mine came with the crease attachment, and it is awesome! Buy this item, and if you don't like it, contact me and maybe I'll buy it back from you!

    No more wrinkles..
I purchased this steamer because I have kids with clothes that always have to be ironed and well small clothes are a pain in the rear to get wrinkles out of without creating new ones.

My first use I did ten pices of clothing in just minutes. The person who said that they though the hook for clothes was to low should have tried extending it up, it is adjustable. I stand 5'8" and it is taller than I am.

I noticed that you have to make sure the hose is extended and that was simple to do, I just have the base further away from where I am. The lower you hang your clothes the futher away.

I can proudly put my iron away until I need something pressed but even then the crease attachment works just as well.

    Euro-Pro's description very deceptive!
This iron can only be used up to three continuous hours a day and no more than a total of 15 hours a week.
This was purchased for my wife who sews many hours daily and
constantly uses an iron. These limitations should be spelled
out in the product description prior to purchase. We will be returning this iron because of its severe restrictions. We never bothered to take anything out of the box except the the directions. I hope Euro-Pro doesn't manufacture automobiles!

    Don't let it fall!
Love the iron - but it falls too easily off the canister. After about the third or fourth fall to the floor - the steam became inconsistent and the ease of keeping a consistent stream of steam is no more! I was sorry to see it break and hesitate to purchase another one at such a high price tag.

Finally, an iron that truly works
I have owned this iron for about 18 months and I tell everyone not to buy any other iron. I have used regular steam irons, probably 30 or more in the last 40 years, and this one is hands-down the only one that truly works. It is light since the water is not in the iron you are handling, the steam is plentiful and wrinkles just melt away. I can iron for about 2 hours on one fill-up of the water tank. My only suggestion for improvement is there needs to be a gauge on the water tank since it is easy to overfill the reservoir. But that is a minor inconvenience for the superb ironing that you can produce with this product. It's worth the money.

    Really, Really Bad
I wish I could give this zero stars. It is the least effective straightener I have ever used. I was intrigued by the "steam" functions, but I don't really think they do anything. Plus, it is impossible to get your hair in between the darn plates. I have fine and kind of thing hair, and even I found it frustrating to use. They do not open wide enough. It's not, as one 5 star (!!!???) reviewer claims, that the point is not to put a lot of hair into the straightener. The problem is that since the plates open parallel to each other (instead of in a hinge-like manner) and not very wide, it is hard to slip the actual hair into the space. Do NOT buy this product.
Another conair straightener is very good: Conair Straight Styles, Professional Straightening Iron CS15RCS. My roomate had one, and I liked it so much I bought one, too.

    Shortlived Satisfaction
When I bought the straightener I was instantly unsatisfied with the lack of heat it produced. It took many different tries to get 1 inch sections of my hair straight. After just 1 month from the purchase date, only one side of the iron worked. Unfortunately I couldn't find my receipt and was stuck with half a straightener.

    I live by it
I don't always straighten my hair, but when I do I have always found this a rather easy way to do it. It heats up rather quickly so you can prep your hair rather easily while waiting for it to warm up. True, it doesn't open very wide and you can't get huge strips of hair in there at a time, but that is the point. If you've ever had your hair straightened with an iron at a salon, you'll notice that they always use smaller sections of hair at a time. It works the best that way heating and straightening the entire section, instead of putting too much hair in and only straightening the outer parts of the big mass of hair.

The added steam feature is definitly a plus. It gives your hair an added bit of shine, and at the same time prevents you from totally toasting your hair. Though of course you should not take this to mean that straightening your hair should be product free. Frizz ease and clones similiar to it work pretty well in moderate amounts on dry hair. Just get it coated lightly on the section before you start straightening it and not only will it help to protect that hair but it will also help it stay straighter once done. Afterwords a light mist of some hair spray might be adviseable if you have hair that tends to have a mind of its own, like mine. I usually don't use hair spray for distaste to the way it feels in my hair, and that is not a big problem though as at most I jsut get a slight wave in a few spots and it's barely an issue in comparison to it going all the way back to curly.

If you tend to have the time on your hair to straighten it, this is definitly the product for you. If not, and you're looking for some quick fix, I wouldn't reccomend it, but then again straightening hair has never been something quick to be accopmlished, so I doubt you'll find anything that will get it done faster.
