constantly uses an iron. These limitations should be spelled
out in the product description prior to purchase. We will be returning this iron because of its severe restrictions. We never bothered to take anything out of the box except the the directions. I hope Euro-Pro doesn't manufacture automobiles!

Love the iron - but it falls too easily off the canister. After about the third or fourth fall to the floor - the steam became inconsistent and the ease of keeping a consistent stream of steam is no more! I was sorry to see it break and hesitate to purchase another one at such a high price tag.

I have owned this iron for about 18 months and I tell everyone not to buy any other iron. I have used regular steam irons, probably 30 or more in the last 40 years, and this one is hands-down the only one that truly works. It is light since the water is not in the iron you are handling, the steam is plentiful and wrinkles just melt away. I can iron for about 2 hours on one fill-up of the water tank. My only suggestion for improvement is there needs to be a gauge on the water tank since it is easy to overfill the reservoir. But that is a minor inconvenience for the superb ironing that you can produce with this product. It's worth the money.

Unlike the reviewer from Lexington NC (Short Lived, July 9, 2003), the fryer I received did not take six months for the circuit breaker to start popping. It started with the very first use and did it again on each of the next two uses. Fortunately for me it was within the first week after receiving the unit and I returned it.

The Euro-Pro fried excellently and the electronic panel was very easy to use. But after 3 months, the electronic panel failed and it rendered the fryer useless.

This unit has worked great from the first use. It heats up very quickly and cleans easily. As with all fryers care should be taken not to overload it, particularly when frying food containing a high moisture content. That being said, this fryer has great capacity and maintains cooking temperature well. It does have a few sharp edges which can be touched up with a whetstone or file.

Update: I have been trying to reach the company of this product but to no avail. The blades that came with the unit do not fit into the compartment of this product. I feel that the company Euro-Pro has advertized falsely and I will pursue this. I would in no way buy this product! Please be advised.

I order this machine from the Euro-Pro website and it arrived with a cracked bowl. I called twice and both times I was told I would receive a replacement in 5 to 7 days. I would also like to mention that I offered to send the broken bowl back so they could see the crack, but was told no. That was in October and I still have not received the replacement. I am at the point that I will purchase a new bowl, but cannot find a source. I would not reccommend that anyone purchase this machine directly from Euro-Pro. I will not order another Euro-Pro product.

This machine puts others food processors to shame. I chopped tomatoes, onion, peppers and cilantro at the same time and made perfectly chopped salsa; there were no large chunks or unchopped pieces. I have not used all the other attachments yet so I don't know how effective they are. Buy this and give your other food processors and your blender away.

This was the best fryer I ever owned for 45 days then the electronics failed. The design is perfect but based on my experience and that of many others they should remove it from the market until they can make it last more than a few weeks of normal use. Great concept very bad execution.

A change of heart, I found the secret telephone number for Euro-pro 866-694-6401 they are sending a replacement at no cost with no hassle. Perhaps they decided on some good PR.

I have had several deep fryers over the years by different brands (Rival, Delonghi, Presto, etc.) and this fryer by far has some of the best features compared to the others. I love the fast frying time (1700 watt heater), the basket (some fryers omit this lovely item), the size (I can cook for the family in one basket), and the overall design makes me feel like I am getting resturant quality frying. The things that I do not like are the absences of a cool touch exterior (it gets really hot), that the cord has to be connected to the unit by magnets, the seemingly filmsy exterior (although it holds the frying unit wonderfully), the constant cleaning (stainless steel after all), and the large amount of oil I go though every month to refill it (it takes about a good 100 fluid ounces to fill and that is good for about 8-9 fry times). If you do not plan to use this fryer a lot, than I say buy it, but if you are, then I say move on and spend your money on a Delonghi.

Fryer worked like a charm. Easy to use. Accurate temps and cook times. A breeze to clean and re-assemble. It's brand new and near perfect, so we're still honeymooning.Only suggestion is the gauge of outer cabinet stainless seems a bit flimsy but nonetheless provides good support for the oil container. I compared this Euro Pro unit (reviews and physical comparison) with another more recognizable name brand stainless fryer that did not offer as many features, i.e., digital thermo and timer controls, larger and deeper fry basket with oil container. The name brand competition also had mixed reviews so I figured if I am going to get fried, I'll do it for $40. less on price. Both units made in China. Could be the same producer. If honeymoon ends early I'll follow up with revised review.

My Aunt owns this thing. I used it to vacuum her car. Well! I was so dissapointed! This has no suction power what so ever! It wouldnt even suck up a piece of fuzz! What a joke.I would rather pick up the dirt with my hands then struggle with this thing! Dont buy this!

The turbo attachment worked great the first couple of times it was used. Now it doesn't even turn at all.

This hand vacuum worked well till the filter completly clogged, even washing it wont work. So I went to order antoher one but they are 30.00 dollars and you have to buy a Hepa Filter as well. So after 3 replacements, you have three hepa filters left and no use for them untill the time comes to change it. Then I picked up a very small peice of plastic, the air driven turbo brush jamed, and broke the mount clip so the turbine wont spin.

I have found this iron to be a hazard and I have found this company to be impossible to deal with. A customer service representative hung up on me when I politely asked to speak to a supervisor in August (I bought the iron in February). This iron is actually dangerous when it spits water everywhere. Furthermore, it has ruined some expensive linen clothing of mine. I actually have tried two of these, returning one to the store where I bought it. The second iron had all the problems as the first one. The Euro Pro company requires the customer to spend his own money to return the product for repair and then to pay another $9.50 to have it returned from them. This is another $15.00 or $20.00 on top of the $50.00+ that one pays for the iron. I sent a certified letter to them over a month ago (at the cost of $4.42) which explained my problems and my desire for a refund -- not a repaired iron or another iron. They received that letter one month ago and have ignored me completely. In addition to spitting water everywhere, this iron leaks water constantly and shuts down in the middle of my ironing -- not just when it is left unattended. I would not use one of these irons if it were given to me.

We enjoy this but:
The steam button sometimes does not come up after it is pressed.
The automatic shut-off cannot be over-ridden by tipping the iron as specified in the manual.
It does make a strange smell and occasionally spit out small white pieces even though we broke it in as specified.
This is still a good iron: the cord is very long and it gets good and hot (we use the hottest as we iron mostly cotton clothes.)

Just thought you (and other's who are considering this or any iron) should know something about modern irons. Irons that are self cleaning or have anticalc features, should never have distilled water, softened water or any other water that does not come from your tap used in them. They are designed to function with tap water! Your problem with the "rust stains" is being caused by the distilled water, which can also cause leaks or spitting. Look in the manual as it should tell you what water is or isn't acceptable and how to clean your iron. If you clean your iron according to the manufacturers recommendation and then fill it with water from your tap (no refridgerator water either) then it should take care of the problem. You did not get a lemon. You are using a modern appliance in an outdated way!

I purchased this model from HSN about 2 years ago. Once I finally took it out of the box and started cleaning, I could not stop. It was great at cleaning everything. Once I was done, I really felt the house was clean. Then the day before company was coming for Christmas, I turned it on to heat up, there was a flash from the bottom, then the heating unit was dead. It still has power, but no heat. It took perseverance to find a number and then reach customer service who was less than helpful. She advised that I would have to pay for shipping and repairs and that it was probably not worth it. When I asked for a local dealer, she could only advise to check with any small appliance repair. I suspect from the other posts that I will find out that it will be cheaper to buy a new one. This is definately the way to clean, and I feel lost without it. However, it appears from the other posts that mine was not an unusual event. So while I will buy another vapor cleaner, I will not be investing my money in this brand anymore if this is the best they can do with their supposed high end model.

We ordered this product from HSN 10 months ago. Although we used it frequently on our tile floors, it was not abused. We paid over $200.00 and it lasted just shy of 10 months and then would no longer heat the water. The warranty does not cover labor or shipping....only parts. By the time we get done paying for needed repairs, we are better off buying another one....just NOT a Euro Pro.

Its very sad that Euro-pro has made an excellent product that doesn't last and offers consumers limited options for repair. For the past two years I have used this machine to remove wallpaper, a calcimine ceiling and eggs pitched at my house on Halloween. It is has been amazing at cleaning the usual household objects and freshing clothing. I loved it so much I purchased a smaller version to keep at my parent's house and I have recommended it to at least 20 others.
The internal gaskets must have failed and now the safety cap leaks steam and the machine makes frightening noises. I am just going to pitch it because it is dangerous and is too costly to repair.
