FilterStream V2100 may be too heavy for seniors. This isn't a miracle vacuum, its just an industrial version of a dustbuster.

Had two DustBusters, both failed. After reading all the reviews for the FilterStream I bought one. Very powerful, easy to clean, built very well. With 3 year old twins, I use it every day for cleaning wet and dry ceral, noodles, crumbs, etc. Highly recommended.

Due to what's available in most stores, I've been using B&D dustbusters for years. While browsing Amazon, the positive customer reviews led me to try this model out. It's incredible. Relatively quiet, holds a charge long enough to walk through the whole house, picks up everything quickly, easy to clean. A huge improvement over the dustbuster I had before. I highly recommend this product.

It sucks like crazy. I love that. It's quite loud. I can accept that. But! The on/off switch began acting up the 1st week, and I've been unable to contact aanyone at the company. I wonder how I'm going to get my problem resolved.

I've used several dustbuster and dirt devil cordless vacs over the past 12-15 years. This FilterStream model is the best I've ever used. The suction power is very strong and the battery life between charges is several times longer than other models. The only downside to this model is its weight; the lead-acid battery makes it heavy.

It's so much better than other vacs that I can't understand why Amazon and others are no longer selling it...

It's not often you come across a "find" like this. After years of mediocre performance from several models of B&D's DustBuster series, I foolishly thought the next model would be better than the last, I finally gave up on them. What a relief to find this vacuum. It's build quality is excellent, it is quieter than most portables, its powerful suction has no equal in this class, and its wet/dry capabilities are more useful than you might think. Especially if you have kids! (The "wet" bowl holds just enough to cleanup a 3 year old's spilled milk!) Even the light has proven handy. I find myself reaching for this vacuum more often than any other portable vac I have ever owned.

This vaccum is great. I was worried about the bag/filter light to see if the bag would really be full before it came on and low and behold the bag was stuffed when the light came on. I have not had any problems and would recommend this vaccum to anyone. It works great on picking up dog hair from the carpet and bare floors.

This is a great vacuum bag. It sucks up the allergans which is very helpful to those people allergic to pet dander.

Absolutely RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED ... get a grip! Whoever would buy this item at this price and the extraordinary OVERPRICED SHIPPING doesn't know how to shop!

After shipping, this pack of 3 is right around the cost of buying it locally.P>There's nothing here worth 4 stars. The vacuum cleaner perhaps, but not the bags. It's a simple paper bag like any other; it's not rocket science. It's worth about $0.50 to manufacture, and they could make a profit at ($$$)/bag. This type of pricing is nothing other than highway robbery since they have us latched already. My next vacuum might be one of those bagless models.

If somebody wants to post something helpful, please let us know where if anywhere we can find these bags (inexpensive) from a third party.

The reviewer who complained so about the price could find these at her local ... chain store. These are standard bags available everywhere. Amazon is nice because you don't have to leave the house. For some an extra [bit of money] is worth the convenience.

i received this as a wedding shower present which i had registered for and it never sucked up anything!! It was such a waste of money i wish that i had sent it back or wrote the co. or something i just put it in the trash where it belongs

I had just purchased this vaccuum and wanted to test it out. Within a minute of turning it on, it stopped working! After further examination, I found that one of the cords in the vacuum overheated or something and busted in half. I wish I could send it back.

I have 3 cats and a dog, so the pet hair is never ending. I became so tired of lugging out my upright to vacuum up cat litter and pet fur every day. Other hand vacs I have tried do not have the power necessary to really clean the floor and furniture, until I used this hand vac. It works beautifully. I use it daily and have never had a problem with the unit. I would definitely recommend this item to pet owners.

I read the instructions, charged the unit for 24 hours before using. To put it simple: THE DUST TAMER IS A TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY. My observations from using the unit are: 1. the suction is very weak, 2. the motion of compressing the brush into the solid core chamber only serves to embed the dust into the brush fibers, Note; there is no suction action in the solid core chamber only at the top of the unit. and 3. There was no dust collected at all in the dust compartment. The reason for that is because the dust never leaves the brush until you go outside and shake it out. Isn't there a law against this kind of commerce??

This is a total waste of money and doesn't work at all.

When you vacuum your duster you should put the duster into the green ridges and twist it up and around! I was very surprised how much dust was in the drawer after dusting for about 5 minutes. When I opened the drawer I thought there wasn't much dust in it, but to my surprise there was about a quarter of a inch of dust in it. The first time I tried I was putting the duster all the way in, but when I just put it into the top where the green gooves are, I got great results. It is a wonderful product. I am disable & having this make me feel a little useful again!
