I should have listened to "Mayzele's" review below! The machine itself does not work on carpets. Granted I have a Miele downstairs but "Mayzele" was correct in the review below that the air (with dust) is being dispersed out the side of the machine. And - the machine is only good on hard wood or bare floors.
However - my 7 yr old LOVES it because she feels she is helping out. She cannot control our larger vacuum so we bought this one for her to use on the upstairs level as her first Sat. AM chore. She can easily wheel this one around and she has full control over where she moves it. She doesn't seem frustrated that she keeps having to go over and over, and OVER the same area to pickup that one speck of paper...but I'm sure she will get frustrated as the novelty wears off. All her friends think it's so cute and they all try it out now when they come over to play.
Nice little machineso you can get under furniture, do stairs, etc. Small size
also makes for easy storage. It's very quiet compared to the
Eureka Boss I used to have.
Impressive! The vacuum disassembles easily and quickly to use as a hand vac. The weight is good. My 5 year old daugher recently used it to vacuum all our baseboards!
Performs very well on hard floors and good on carpeting. I'd buy it again!

- Unique push and go operation; 20-minute running time
- Motorized soft-touch rotary brush works well on hard floors or carpeting
- Bagless, easy-to-empty dust container
- Telescopic handle; compact recharging stand Included
- Weighs 2 pounds; measures 6-1/4 inches high and 9-1/2 inches wide
List price: $39.99 (that's 25% off!)

Better getting a broom.
Not a VacuumTherefore, it does very poorly with anything that is not dust. I tried to pick up popcorn, and it had trouble with it.
The main value is the light weight and convenience of cordless. I can imagine a much superior product, however.
Two of my stars go to this convenience...it does pick up the bulk of dust-like material for a minor spill with minimal hassle since it is cordless. The base station is well designed for charging.
However, almost any hand-held real vacuum has real suction that far exceeds the relatively feeble pick up of this small unit. It is only good for marginal pickup until you have time to get the real vacuum out.
Good For The Money
- Wet/dry vacuum is strong enough to pick up chunky food spills
- Flexible hose and separate attachments for wet and dry messes
- 12-volt high-capacity battery pack gives extra-long running time
- LED charging light and low-battery indicator
- Filter detaches easily for washing

Euro-Pro means " imported lemon" in English/FrenchI had the misfortune of purchasing one of these cleaning(?)implements in spite of reading the tepid to abominable Amazon reviews. In fairness I made this traumatic purchase from a tv buying network after being swayed by the product demonstration (which I discovered later bares no resemblance to the the actual in use performance of the machine)....
This is the WORST vacuum cleaner I have ever used and that includes AC vacs where there was no electricity in the house. This unit actually throws debris back on the carpet that you have collected in an earlier task even when the micro vacuum collection chamber is one third full.
I must admit that I also purchased the AC version of this turkey at an earlier time so should have been forewarned. Its motor burned out after two attempts at cleaning up a small area. I have spent more money in return shipping costs for these two "implements of cleaning frustration" than I have for the cost of the two vacuums put together.
As they say "fool you once, shame on me - fool you twice, shame on you". I will never purchase a Euro-Pro product of any kind again and that is a promise.
The fault in this case is the internal vacuum design - a small perforated collection cup located in front of the motor/suction section. As the tiny holes in this collection cup plug up the suction rapidly decreases. If you continue to vacuum the unit heats up and eventually the motor burns out.
Enough said.....
Looked Good Until I brought It Home
Good, but...(1) Unlike the Shark "Deluxe" (which is not a wet/dry vac), the charging base does not provide storage for most of the attachments.
(2) The dust cup fills up very quickly (especially around here -- dog hair) and must be emptied as often as several times in a cleaning session to maintain suction power. As of this writing, I have been unable to find replacement filter cups either on Amazon.com, Target.com, in-store at Target, or on Euro-Pro's own site.
(3) The battery loses its charge very quickly when not kept in the charger, and will be almost completely dead after a few days out of the charger. Aside from the inconvenience this poses if you want to take it on a road trip, for instance, it gives me more serious concerns about the long-term durability of the battery. This worry is what knocked my review from four stars to three.
Having said all of that, thus far I have been pleased with its performance: it delivers adequate power (it'll get short dog hairs out of upholstery -- yuk!) for enough time (it'll go just long enough for me to vacuum my hatchback's interior) to be a worthwhile purchase.
