We bought this product as a roach-picker-upper. We were tired of using paper towels to pick up bugs. It works GREAT. Also works great for sand, dirt, sugar spills, vacuuming drawers, and even water. It was a GREAT value for the price $20 becausee it's wet/dry and its battery life is good. The filter tends to get a lot of junk in it, and some stuff can get lodged in the end of the vac, requiring some banging to dislodge, but otherwoise, no complaints.

I bought this handheld vac for our "den" that has the hamster cage and fish tank - After getting worn out by pulling my big vaccuum out everyday to clean up the mess the hamster would make every night.

I was very attracted by the price ... and after using it I was attracted by the features. The crevice tool makes it easy to get into the grooves around the baseboards..under furniture and in small places. It's also perfect for my washer/dryer room (which my dryer makes a bit of a mess also:0) The fact that it's cordless makes it even easier - it's small enough to put in a convenient place and not have to lug out the big vaccuum for small messes. It's perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, etc.

The 4.8 Volts may not be the strongest volt you can have on a cordless vac - but it is strong enough for this handheld vac. I've not had a problem with it picking up - it's got good suction - I'm not disappointed at all.

I grew up with my Mother owning a Dust Buster - she used it every day for years!!! She only replaced it because of the upgraded features. My experience with the Black & Decker Dust Busters is that they are reliable, sturdy and will last for years to come!

You won't be disappointed with the quality, price or performace of this wet/dry handheld vac (and I should also add cordless).

The appeal of this easy-to-store, lightweight hand vac is that it's great for wet or dry messes, which makes it ideal for a family with babies or toddlers. It's also easy to empty the collected lint, pet hair, or Cheerios from this small appliance. I highly recommend this affordable and user-friendly cordless hand vac.

I have been trying to order this since December and still have not had it shipped by March. I have found a newer model on here the av1210 in the Tools section. This one actually seems to be stocked, so I have ordered that one.
